YES. Carry out all of the necessary preparations, however. The primer comes highly recommended.
Hahaha. Cut it off, they're clinging to your body like glue!
That is incomprehensible. When painting 80 square feet, a roller makes a big difference. 200sf. This isn't the case!
I did, and after about 6 months, it flaked off.

This product was applied to the roof of our trailer three weeks ago. I followed the preparation instructions and painted two coats, allowing the first to dry completely before applying the second. After that, it sat in direct sunlight in extremely hot weather for a few days, which should have completely cured it. The trailer was then parked under cover for about two weeks before we used it for about five days with very little rain. It was a bit chilly at night, so I turned on the heater for a while, but it shouldn't have made a difference. I noticed a section of the roof coating had peeled away today as I was parking the unit. After a closer look, I discovered that the entire covering had failed; Wrinkling and sheet-like peeling. Because the roof is so loose and unbonded, I imagine a garden hose would strip it. It was a waste of both time and money to do this.
My husband and I followed all of the instructions to the letter. We prepared the surface by wire brushing and cleaning the entire roof, then applied the primer (2 coats), followed by three coats of this paint. We used Dicor caulk and tape as well. For the seams, use tape and caulk, and for the roof vents, use caulk. And, surprise, surprise, surprise! br>Now, four weeks later, rust is showing up! br>After putting in a lot of effort to get our roof in good shape, we are completely dissatisfied with this product, which is not only expensive but also clearly ineffective. br>I strongly discourage you from purchasing this product.
All I can think of is that this is some kind of California-approved material. This is a waste of time. I followed the directions for surface preparation and application. It was left to dry for seven days in the sun. Then we have a wet evening, and it bubbles up and peels off easily. Make sure you don't throw your money away. If at all possible, look for a product that isn't based on water.
I am unable to give the product a rating because the packaging of the items was extremely poor. The box has enough space for four gallons. There were only two people inside, and they were wrapped in bubble wrap. However, I'm not sure how a gallon can turn completely upside down in a box and spill all over the place. As a result, smaller boxes will most likely be required, or the container will have been loaded incorrectly.
I looked into a few different products before deciding on this one based on the reviews and how it works. in relation to video I followed the instructions to the letter and stripped all of the rust away, revealing gleaming metal underneath. When I used the primer as directed, the metal rusted again almost immediately. Both the primer and the finish are made of water. I was told to lightly sand the primer and apply the EDPM top coat after contacting customer service. The roof showed rust spots within 24 hours after three coats, which were cured in the sun between coats as instructed. I also tried using seam tape. That will be the subject of a different review.
Our RV trailer only had a bare metal room, and even with the AC on high, you can feel the heat radiating from the ceiling on the inside when the sun beats down. After painting this on, there is no longer any heat coming from the ceiling, and the air conditioner can easily cool the interior.
I will keep you updated in the future. I prepped the top of the aluminum camper, used butyl tape to seal all seams, and then used this product to paint over the top. It looks great and is watertight. I'll update it in a few years.
My 1995 Starcraft popup camper was saved thanks to this sealant. This summer, we discovered that the roof of our 1995 Starcraft popup camper had several leaks due to falling branches, and the interior of the ceiling had been completely destroyed by water damage. I applied two coats of this sealant to the outside and replaced the ceiling panels on the inside. It's like new again now. There were no leaks at all. Since applying this sealant, I've gone camping three times in the rain and have never had a leak. Because the sealant is white, it gave the roof a brand new appearance, and when it dries, it turns into a rubbery layer that covers the entire roof, which is fantastic. I wouldn't own a pop-up camper if it weren't for this product! I finished with a quarter of a can left over, covering a surface area of 7' x 10'. I used a paint roller to apply it. For less than $50, it completely restores the durability of your roof. The money was well spent. To keep the roof in good shape, I'll reapply this stuff every couple of years. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> br>br>Less than a year later, and this product is already showing signs of wear and tear. I'm looking for a new roof sealant because there are several leaks in the roof. This product does not have a long shelf life. I'm not going to buy anything else in the future.
