As stated in the product information, it performed exactly what it was purchased for, which was to clean my RV's roof so I could apply the roof protector. The roof on my house had not been cleaned for about a year, so it took about six hours to clean it. With a 36 foot 5th wheel and three slides, I am good to go. According to the directions, the product was used, mixed, and a brush was used to clean it. My white roof looked exactly as I wanted it, after all the time and effort I put into it.
Using a soft brush and hose water to rinse, the whole 23 foot long trailer roof was cleaned in 4 hours. In heavily soiled areas, such as along the caulked edges, a stiffer hand brush was necessary to scrub away the accumulation. For that purpose, we used this cleaner as prep before recaulking the edges and vents. Recaulking was carried out after we waited a day for all surfaces to dry completely. I am very pleased with the product and the result, and there is enough to clean at least two more times.
This is one of the best products I've ever used. Seeing that my current RV has a TPO roof, I thought I would try this product. I was able to remove most of the mold/mildew with this method. While I did not end up with a completely white roof, it is 3 years old and has some staining that isn't going to come out when I wash it. The areas that needed it most were dealt with at full strength, and I'm sure they came much cleaner than before using the product. (I store my RV in an area that has trees that leave stains on the siding. There is an instruction on the package to not use it on other kinds.
In this solution, 8 fluid ounces of solution per gallon of water are mixed. The amount I used was enough to make a 5 gallon bucket of solution, whereas the 128 fluid ounces they give you in the bucket is 45 fluid ounces. Thus, it would be good to use this In my case, it was enough to clean my 28 foot long camper with a bristle brush with 5 gallons. This picture shows what the floor looked like after Apparently I did a pretty good job as there was a trace of gray chalky substance on my concrete ground, which this product removed from my roof. Be sure to rinse the sides of your trailer because if you allow any solution to drip down, then you will see a clean streak.
This cleaner was used to clean my three kids The roof is made of TPO and is over a year old. Despite the roof's white color, this application made it look like brand My dilution and application were followed precisely, and when it was time to remove the old chemical, I made sure to clean the sidewalls of the trailer first.
It seems to work. The awning and the part of my camper where the flip out tent is attached were covered with black gunk. The cleaner provided in this package did what it was supposed to do. The dirt must be loosen by brushing with a stick after applying the cleaning solutions.
While it didn't get rid of the black marks at the seams very well, the rest of the dirt was taken away.
We found it to be not quite as strong as needed on our white roof trailer, but we don't know whether that will affect the acrylic wax on the sides of the trailer.
