Axles like these are awesome! I ordered them with free shipping and they showed up the very next day. These are made in the USA. This axle was purchased for use on my 1981 Trans Am with a factory rear disc brake system. Use the following procedure if you plan on using Pressed If you need to replace your lug nut studs, you should purchase Moser brand studs since they have a specific knurl diameter. A pair of studs from their brand costs about the same as a pair from another brand. In the photo, we see only 5 of the buttons Each axle comes with a complete bolt pattern (1 bolt pattern) plus an additional 5 holes tapped for 1/2-Inch bolts. Screw in 20 screws. This axle will work on vehicles from 1979 to 1991 Despite their design for a rear drum brake, 1981 Firebird and Trans Am rear disc brake cars were manufactured for a 10 bolt rear drum brake configuration F- 1981 An axle at the midsection of the body. To confirm that these will work for the application, I talked to Moser staff via email. "Hat", or the portion that sticks out from the bolt pattern flange, sticks out 1/2" and a little bit over 1/8" of that portion has a chambered edge, yet there is still over 3/8" of mounting surface for the disc brake hub to align Compared with a rotor that requires less than 5/16" gap, the stock axle hat sticks out 5/8". The depth is not as deep as the model GM designed, but it is suitable for this application in terms of fit and function.
75 TA axles need to be replaced. The photo shows 5 stud holes, which is what I was looking for in these Axles. The factory look was what I wanted. It was not important to me that an axle had multiple bolt The axles with wheel flanges had 10 holes for the studs, and that is what Moser sent.
Hasn't run yet, but it boasts fast delivery and Moser, so there's no way you can.
