You may want to cross check the application guide on either the JEGS or the Summit website. I know you will need to use special bearings and races based on the listing at JEGS.
This bearing is made by Timken and has the part number A race number of 102949 for the LM-class There is a listing for this on the Jegs site it fits the GM 8 model. It worked for me on an install in an '87 Chevrolet truck with 5 10 bolts up to '99.
Interested in finding out how many bolts are in the rear cover on the rear and then comparing it to the specifications of Detroit lockers.

This seems like a quality piece of heavy duty This wheel does not make any noise when driving, and should increase traction significantly. YUKON gear super shim kit makes it easy to set the preload and backlash by letting you adjust the preload and backlash. Please note that I am reiterating Since I used the existing ring gear, the backlash was very close, but someone previously working on that rear had set the backlash to 18 tho, so it needed to be reset. Anyway, think of it as a shim.
