Does it fit? There is no way the set I received will fit a 72 Elcamino, the add states that it fits only

It would be necessary to narrow the carrier by a quarter inch even if the carrier could be shimmed enough. Over the last 40 years, I have assemble differentials for at least 40 years, so I'm pretty confident in what I know. I'll return the set and reach out to see if I can get the right.
