It was a decent replacement set for a more affordable price
5/5

I purchased this for my John Deere L120 Lawn Tractor to replace a steering shaft gear and a sector gear which had worn out after approximately 540 hours. It took a little while to replace everything. As I was disassembling and reassembling the mower, I scuffed the deck and greased and cleaned other parts of the machine as well as scraping and cleaning the deck. I did not use the plastic bushing that came with the kit since my original metal ones were still serviceable. I first noticed something felt "notchy" when I turned the steering wheel after I installed the new parts My first thought was that the parts might not be as precise as the originals or perhaps they just needed to be broken For some reason I forgot how it felt after I installed them yesterday, but after cutting the lawn for the first time today, I didn't remember either. However, I will conclude by saying that Last week, I had a sloppy wheel that made steering feel choppy. Today's wheel feels much better. This is the type of part I would order again if I needed it. It's impossible to predict whether the replacements will allow me to get another 540 hours from them,.

I like it

I was able to get this to work seamlessly! I have a John Deere L130 and this fits just right. (A plastic of lower quality seems to be a major loss. 1) best price I was able to find at the time of purchase. And believe me, I searched It was cheaper to do this myself than to hire a mechanic, so I got a lawn mower worth $600 for $200 plus the cheap cost of this part and the 30 minutes it took me to do it myself. I'm glad I did.

I was able to use it on my L118

My opinion is that this place offers great value. The 2-in-1 kit includes a 1/2-inch impact and a grease gun that I had to borrow and buy. As a result, I just had to finish all of the mowing at my house to get it done after the installation. We now have a great steering system!.

This worked really well! The process of changing these parts has become somewhat of a profession for me I have done it quite a few times already on several different lawn mowers of the same model type, and this set has worked really well for me! It would be a mistake to skip the bushing replacement even though they are a hassle to replace

I notice that these gears on my mower appear to wear out fairly quickly
5/5

Having replaced them twice previously, this is the second time I've done so. As I was replacing the belts anyway, I figured since I was there, I might as well do that as well. I was able to install it the second time without any problem. The one I have now should last for more than a couple of.

A good fit for the bushings

Slots in the center of the pinions do not line up. The teeth of the gear had to be filed manually using an old pinion. The gear on the shaft is in the correct position This John Deere tractor has 120 horsepower.
