I have been using the 0
i file in a swap project. This is the fits three ls chevy engines and a nv3500 tranny or there may be advance adapters to plug in the chey engine, but the important part of this is the fits four ls engines. The number 8 is The third is 6th.
After purchasing and returning six different items that had not met their descriptions, I finally got the right part.
I was able to fit my LM7 5 with no problem. The engine is mated to a manual transmission from a Saginaw 3L.
That looks just like the original one, so now I can drive my Corvette again.
The 1980 SM465 is on page 3 of 3. I just had to make a couple minor alterations and it fits perfectly!.
I wouldn't hesitate to order this item again if I ever need to swap again.
