In the 2002 WRX, there are two different flywheels, one for the pre-2002 model and one for the post-2002 model. For the 2002 model year, you can build one and another one for later years. Creating cars is our job. If you want to know what type of flywheel you need for your WRX, you'll have to do some research. The flywheel fits the later-looking Fords, according to what I can tell The model 2002 WRX was built.
The clutch kit I just installed on my 2000 Forester is an Exedy kit. The only way to fix the problem is to buy a new flywheel or resurface the old one. The one you should get if you decide to buy is this one.

This device was installed on a 2000 Outback. After 03/00 is considered to be too late. I would recommend this flywheel if you don't want to wait for the machine shop to resurface it. I would suggest spending a few extra bucks for this. It is equipped with new flywheel bolts and a new pilot bearing. Your shifts will be smooth as butter when you pair it with the Exedy clutch kit. In addition to the clutch kit, the exedy clutch kit comes with a pilot bearing, so you will have two pilot bearings if you buy them both. The install went smoothly on my 2000 Subaru. In general, the 2000 flywheel will need to be from a 1999 and before if her machine was manufactured up until 03/00.
It's nice to have all the parts on hand. Very impressive, both from a look and a function standpoint.

It is not included with the pressure plate bolts. They were available for 0 cents at the Subaru dealer. The cost of each is $75.
Installed it myself with the assistance of a friend. After a little tuning, my Fuji Impreza '09 now runs like new.
The transmission spline shaft was perfectly aligned.
