This photo was taken after removing the driveshaft to change the center bearings on my 2008 Ford Edge. It became obvious that I couldn't disassemble the Driveshaft. There were many ways to try to take it apart, but none of them In order to repair my driveshaft, I contacted a mechanic who specializes in this area. According to him, my driveshaft has a pin inside it that melds together after the manufacturing process and becomes a solid piece when it's finished. If you want to save ford owners some time, just buy a driveshaft and replace it. If you want to save more money, don't buy a ford with an AWD.
I like the speed and accuracy, but it did not work for the application I was using. I used it to make a throw away drive shaft, but I didn't know until I couldn't separate it.
