I agree, it's in the back. Ensure that the boot and the shoe are the same shape.
On my 2007 JK, I used it for the front drive shaft and it worked flawlessly
Yes, it is. It was the same Jeep in 2007 and it will be the same in 2008.
Having said that, I only ordered one as the joint closest to the transfer case has a greater failure rate on a lifted vehicle due to the angle of the shaft. However, if you were to also replace the joints on the rear shaft, you would need two.

There are some things I would change, but my vibration has been fixed. It's going to be interesting to see how long the effects last. Two are installed on the rear drive shaft of a 2008 Jeep Wrangler. It cracks me up to watch YouTube videos that show you how to remove the old ones. You just have to pick them up! They do, for sure. In any case. The process of getting new ones on is not difficult. The dust cap seems like a weak point to me. There's a thin layer of silicon on top. It seems to have been reused old silicone. Rather than the old 5/16 that held the old one on, the new one is held on with hex nuts instead. If you have to remove hex bolds where dirt or corrosion has built up, it is a pain. Possibly because I am an old school retrotyper, but I prefer the old U-shaped font A cv joint is situated over these My opinion is that there are fewer points for failure. It's been days since they were on and there's no vibration.
It would be nice if I could give this trash a zero-star rating. Taking the chance that I could get something that would last even half as long as the original, but alas, it was not worth the effort to change it. A few days of beach driving followed by no more than a day of 4wd in the snow results in a damage to the joint such that the drive shaft must be completely removed before a catastrophic and costly failure sets in. This replacement has less than 5k miles on it compared to the original vehicle with more than 160k miles. You can avoid the hassle of doing the same job twice by purchasing the tera instead of joining through this cheap, pos cv. I have updated. So far, my review stands on the actual CV joint, but the seller is doing everything they can to right the situation. Even if I were able to rate the seller in isolation, I'd give them five In most cases, good customer service is virtually non-existent these days. There are, however, a few exceptions.
Had to replace the original boot since it was damaged and old nasty looking grease was seen on the bottom of the Jeep. As simple as this job was, if your boot is busted, you should have this done as soon as you can to prevent any damage to your
I have been running on it for over ten thousand miles and it is still.
In the end, the joint had one thing going for it the price. Out of the box, the joint was sloppy and loose, not what you want in a CV joint, but I was willing to accept I got it installed and was only able to get about 10k miles out of it after fully packing it with grease. Those who are looking for a joint primarily to sell a car should look at this one for price, but if their goal is to make the joint last, they should miss this one and choose another.
Installing this product was very simple. As I followed along with the YouTube video, I used it as a guide. Ensure that every bit of grease is used. In case your vehicle is lifted, don't use this product. Using this method should ONLY be used on vehicles with stock heights. This joint is susceptible to strain when a vehicle is lifted. As a result of the lift, the drive shafts are at an angle, causing the rubber boot to rip.
A set of the front and rear drive shafts for the Jeep JK is included with this item. Installing this product was very simple. Incorporating the driveshafts back into the engine is the hardest part. Please take note Do not use any of the grease other than the grease sent by the maker. If you do not, you will experience 'pre-' A component fails due to a 'mature' failure.
I like it for the price. However, tearing out the old one was the most difficult part. I was able to save myself the expense of replacing the entire driveshaft by taking one and a half hours. We would use this company.
