Will this fit my 2008 Tahoe LTZ with the 5.9 liter engine? 3l. It says it won't fit my truck on Amazon's site. However, one of your responses states that it fits Tahoes from 2007 and up. ?

I found one on Amazon that was a perfect fit for my 2008 Suburban with a 5. 4WD and a 3 liter engine. I can't recall the part number for the one I bought off the top of my head. As a result, you should probably compare the part to one that fits a Suburban. Mine took me less than half an hour to set up.

No, from 2007 onwards, it won't work.

That first one was shattered to bits. It happened during a family vacation, I'm not sure how or when. We didn't notice it until we got home that it was partially hanging under the vehicle. This replacement appears to be made of a slightly softer material, which means it will be less likely to break in the future.

Even if Amazon says it won't, it might work for you! This part was not compatible with my 2010 Silverado 1500, according to Amazon

It's a large piece of plastic, but it's OEM plastic, so it's a genuine OEM part

It took me about 5 minutes to remove the four bolts that held the remnants of my original shield in place (I hit a 60-quart cooler while driving over a bridge). FUN! ) and then replace it with the new one.
