Currently, I have a Jeep CJ7, 4 with this clutch. The tires are 31 inches, and the gears are 307 teeth. The engine isn't really powerful, so why do I need a clutch that can handle the power? In the meantime, I installed a new Borg &Omega One Beck clutch, two NAPA clutches, and a Zoom clutch from Summit Racing All of them started shaking badly after less than 1,000 miles of easy town driving, and I babied them at the time. combination of gearing and tire size was more than the low end clutches could handle, that was the only thing I could figure out. The clutch work, which is still as smooth as silk, has been in this vehicle for a few thousand miles. Even though this clutch may not be suitable for high performance engines, it should meet your needs if you have a difficult application.
