A 0L inline 6 would be appropriate. The end tube end that slides into the pilot bearing is too small (the diameter is too small) to fit the end tube end on This tool will work only if the OD is set to zero, so you will need to do that. Use electrical tape to measure 750" or machine a bushing that is the correct size. The input shaft needs to be modified to align correctly with the pilot bearing (I achieved this using electrical tape)
The splines align the clutch correctly, however you will not be able to align the input shaft all the way into the pilot bearing. You will also see that other websites (quadratec, 4wheelparts) identify this alignment tool as the correct one for the Wrangler.

Due to lack of the tool, I was initially unable to handle the process of reconnecting my Jeep's transmission with the engine after a rebuild. Even though I did not have the smartest brain, it took me hours to figure it out. I read about this tool on some As soon as I got it, I discovered that the clutch was truly out of alignment. All the parts were loosened up, the CAT was put into place, the front of the engine was slid into place smoothly, and the back of the engine was slid into the transmission with ease. It's okay to be a little brave but uneducated, like me. This lesson can be useful to you. This is the tool you need. Without an engine and transmission tool such as this, I don't think it is possible to reassemble the engine and transmission. I really liked how this jig was made and it got me back on the road right away. Your project will be well worth the price. Best of luck to you!.

A 590 shaft is NOT compatible with 1992 or newer Jeeps. The number of shafts is 750. The description states that it fits 95 Jeep Wranglers, but this is not correct. It is required to have a 95 Jeep Wrangler. The 750 pilot tool is a spline tool. Five-hundred pilots serving in the 88 to 96 The Wranglers are 1991 models.

I read the description and was told that it would work on my 2006 Jeep Wrangler. There was something wrong with the pilot shaft. As it was undersize, I was unable to use it for my application.

It's sort of true. It held the clutch disc center, that is all I can tell you. The only issue I have with it is that it functions more like a centering tool, and it does not hold the dimes When putting the pressure plate in place, you'll have to maintain a firm grip on it. It is okay in terms of build quality. I have a few bucks to spend on this and I would recommend it. It is plastic and the fit isn't that tight, but for its price We wish those who buy it the best of luck with the installation.

As described, this is a perfect fit for the 1997 Sonoma with four wheels.

At a reasonable price, this is a great product.

The fitmet in the pilot bearing was terrible for a 98 Wrangler with four wheels. In order to use the end, I had to wrap several layers of tape around it. In the end, it achieved what it set out to do.
