That is what the dealership quoted me, $370 for (part and labor) and God knows how much of my time. It seems that reviews have been mixed on whether the wire would work for a vehicle with no backup camera (as reviews say it would not work for a vehicle without a trunk camera).
Video installation instructions can be found on YouTube. Please make sure that you get the correct A backup camera was available and everything went smoothly.

For fixing the latch at the dealership, they wanted a bunch of money. It took me an hour and a half to remove this panel with a panel removal tool (quite a daunting task for someone who is inexperienced in such tasks). If you order extra retaining clips, or whatever they're called, you should have extras. You can see them on their yellow backgrounds. Two of the panels were broken in the process of removing them.

A hatch button on a 16 Veloster never worked properly after it was purchased in 2019. A bit of research led me to believe this was what was required.
