Motorcraft SW5130 Sender

It works for two types of diesel engines, but not this one. It simply did not work for my truck. There are other types of temperature sensing units that have been developed specifically for this type of engine. There was a difference between the two models.

The package came in a larger bag enclosed in a factory package. Usually I stick with factory-made parts because they are more durable and less likely to fail.

It is imperative that you do not install this sensor aftermarket. You will not be able to use them. It's best to go aftermarket and find out for yourself. There might be one out there that works, but I tried 3 brands before getting Motorcraft.
