Yes, it fits both naturally aspirated and supercharged 3800 II motors because the motor block is the same on both, and this is the only brand of sensor I'll ever use; I use Ac Delco or Delphi for all of my GM sensors. And don't worry about losing a lot of oil when you replace it; I didn't drain mine and only lost a little, so screw it back in there quickly. To get to it, you'll probably have to take off the passenger side tire as well as the wheel well splash guard. I don't recall which one I purchased, but you might want to look into getting an Oil Sending Unit Socket 1 instead. 1/16" should be sufficient, but double-check.

This is a custom Buick Lesabre from the year 1998. My old one had stopped working and was reading low when it wasn't supposed to. This one brought it back to where it should be and allowed it to move down slightly before returning to its original position. There are no issues in this area. br>br>I recall the shipping being reasonable and prompt, and I give it a five-star rating. Because it was outsourced to Mexico, I gave it four stars. This is still a good company, and there have been no complaints about the quality of the product. Even though it's from Mexico, it doesn't take anything away; it's just something to consider before making a decision. br>br>I got it in mid-September 2018 and it's been working since then. br>br>I got it in mid-September 2018 and it's been working since then. br>br>I got it in mid-December 2018 and it's been working since then. br>br> It was a success.
In my 1998 Buick LeSabre Limited, I purchased this to replace the gauge switch. The old one was a different brand, and it caused the gauge to bounce in the'red' section of the gauge, and a red light to turn on whenever I stopped at red lights after a long drive; this replacement sensor fixed that problem.
I went back to the store and installed this one for 30% less money that displayed proper pressure for 30% less money. Once again, the sub-brand of a chain store has burned me. They list the AC Delco part but only have their higher profit margin private label available, at an inflated cost that was very close to the GM dealer cost; they list the AC Delco part but only have their higher profit margin private label available.
I bought this for my lesabre because I didn't want to go with the original. The price was good, but it broke before I could put the socket on it, much to my surprise. An installed manual pressure switch proved to be a failure.
It really works. Firebird 3 (1996) 8 fits.
To replace the factory original sensor, I purchased one from NAPA Auto Parts. My oil pressure gauge began to spike high after six months. The problem was solved after I bought this ACDelco part. On several occasions, I learned my lesson by purchasing off-brand sensors. I now only purchase ACDelco original sensors and have had no problems.
For my 1998 Buick 3, I used this 19244519 sender. The number eight indicates that the reading is correct. I've installed two of these in two Buicks, and both have performed admirably. At first, I tried the BWD brand from Advance Auto, which resulted in false readings from two BWD senders, as well as the oil light flashing on at 30 psi at idle.
It worked perfectly! It resolved my issue with my original sensor, which had failed after 17 years! My oil pressure gauge read zero because the first one leaked oil inside! The issue was resolved with the use of this unit.
