Installing the intake and hoses made a huge difference, as the stock intake and hoses had worn out. The APR Carbonio intake air box, combined with a Carbonio air filter, puts the air back in the intake system.

For my MK6 GLI Jetta, I bought a used APR Carbonio intake, and it lacked the flex boot with which to install it. Spectre's boot proved to be a fine replacement for the original. Very high quality and exactly the same as the one on APR's website (and a fraction of the cost).
