Initially did a little research since my 10 year old Headman long tube headers were not cleared
3/5

It took more than a big hammer to get the job done. The unit was returned after I installed the stock starter with a heat shield. The fact that all manufacturers offer the same design means that these are very popular - even with the different manufacturers' variations. You can get these even if they're expensive There is no starter in sight, and I am sure it is my headers. If there were more complaints and more headers would not fit, I suspect that an updated set would work.

A great way to begin
5/5

On my 1973 Dodge Dart 318, it works 100x better than the original parts, it started for the 1st time a couple of days ago, and the price was right. My only complaint is the location of the terminals.

It has a lot of torque. I put this in a vintage 1970 Superbird, and the car started right up right away. It has a lot of torque.

That's the end of the problem
4/5

Hot starting has never been an issue for me since I purchased this starter. When headers are used, it is easier to get clearance with smaller sizes. If you have an old big block muscle car, this upgrade is a must. There are starters from newer cars that will fit your classic car, so you should look for one. The starter should be of the same type as the one in the Toyota. Finding one that fits your vehicle will cost you much less than buying a whole new one. The reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because of this.
