Questions & Answers

Is this part compatible with the 2" lift on my 2015 JK?

Probability dictates that the answer is probably yes. There can be up to a 2 in these. The lift on this model is 5". You will be able to use these parts if you purchased a kit that only gave you a 2" lift.

Can they be used with an export model JK with the ?

It is important that they do. Neither the sway bar nor the steering are involved in

work on a Rubicon with an electronic disconnect? I have a busted link on my vehicle and am unable to find any replacement links for 2 inch lift vehicles. ?

In fact, yes. My swaybar has been converted to manual after I installed a rubicon swaybar. As we did not have the original links, we just used the JKS as the link.

Okay, so I am the proud owner of a 2011 Jeep Wrangler. Does it matter if the bottom pins are just a little bit Is it true that I'll have to drill the link to fit?

You shouldn't need to drill anything.

There are no more broken links on the sway bar, plus the incorrect bends in the bar are fixed
5/5

now that you're paying attention, I will ask you a question. The link ends on these are extremely heavy duty. I noticed that the spacers for the Polyurethane Spacers were not included in the package when I unpacked the kit. As you can see, these are 1/2 in. I decided to find out what the driver's side is like. A link that is longer than the factory link. The bottom end of the unit, minus the spacer, is about 3/8 of an inch outboard. This means that the top of the unit may also lean inward. I found a picture by a reviewer that shows the unit leaning inward from the top too. There is likely to be no harm in doing so. Their ease of use makes them easy to wear and take off. Comparing these to the replacement ends, the replacement ends are like toothpicks. My Jeep Wrangler only has about 27000 miles on it and I have replaced both factory units due to failure, and a replacement set failed just over 2 years ago. When you use your Jeep for serious off-road travel, you must have As a result, standard end links cannot deal with extreme movement, so the Rubicon model has an electronic disconnect. There were some missing polyurethane spacers when I received a set of these. Therefore, I got a new one. As I installed these, I discovered a flaw in the sway bar that had been in the factory. My discovery, upon taking a look straight up from underneath, was that the passenger side of the link mounting point was bowed outward from This means that the ends of the sway bars did not mount parallel to each other. There was no damage to the road in this case. I popped two links on the same side because that's what I ended up doing. The good news is that I can simply move these adjustable links a little to be square with the bar and still be square with the axle mounting plate. Now that I have the ability to remove the sway links to get full articulation out of our Jeep, I can avoid those extreme conditions that would cause the sway links to fail. Yesterday, I used this setup for the first time, and they came off without much trouble. We were level when we arrived at a fairly level spot before we hit the paved road, and I put the vehicle on the driver's side without any issues. My next attempt was to put them on the passenger side, but I was unable to do so. Having my passenger get out, the bar popped out of the hatch and I easily installed it. Therefore, keep it level, if it's thrown off by the weight of someone on board, it's your fault. A window blind kit came with a couple of small brackets. A tab with a hole is located on the side of the tab. On the other side of this bracket, there appears to be a bend of about 3/16 of an inch. In it is a slot. In order to achieve this, I drilled a 1/4 in hole. It was then necessary to insert a bolt into the coil spring tower for the bracket to attach. When the sway bar was detached, I used two small bungee cords to hold it level. The whole process went smoothly.

Replacement parts are difficult to find and are high maintenance
3/5

After installing a suspension lift on my Jeep recently, I had to replace these links, which I had installed on it for the past two years. In their defense, they do their job quite well, although sometimes I remove them when the game is not being played I was able to do so quite easily while on the road. Let's now look at some of the disadvantages Links such as these require a lot of maintenance. It is very important to grease their surface often (and eventually they will be covered by All four nuts came loose in my case, and I hear rattling noises whenever I bump into something. Despite this, the lock nuts provided were rusted out and could not be tightened or removed. There is no suitable place to hold the posts so that they don't rotate (it would be nice if they could be easily grasped with a wrench, like the originals). In the holes in the posts, there is no strong material that can be placed to hold them. Ultimately, to remove the posts, I had to drill them to 1/4" and insert a larger bolt, hold it with pliers, and drill these holes again.

I am in love with On the trail it is easy and quick to disconnect
5/5

You can put them on or take them off in minutes if you grease them up. The easy side is always the one that comes off easiest. As much as possible, you also need to be flat. It is usually best to replace them as soon as I reach a paved road again, otherwise you need someone to stand on one side of the jeep to lower the sway bar enough to level out both sides.

This is beefy
5/5

The JKS part #2030 fits 0 A lift of 2" is necessary. I received my order early and it was packaged well. The quality of these links is much higher During the installation process, it took about 45 minutes. In most cases, this is because they have been removed. The interface feels somewhat tighter after installing, which I like. You can remove both links within 30 seconds of installing the extension. There is only one aspect about these that I am concerned about I only have about one inch of threading. This is to say that they are almost fully extended. It has been a pleasant experience for me so far. If there are any issues I'll edit the post. A '15 JK Sport is fitted with an Adaptive Leveling Kit from Teraflex, 295/70/R17 Duratracs mounted on stock wheels with 1. 151 tires. Venom hubcentric spacers with a 5" diameter.

I was very happy with my purchase! Having finally gotten to try them out last weekend (07FEB21), I can report that they were great
5/5

In my experience, I only am familiar with JKS Quicker Disconnects, but I doubt I will ever try any other manual disconnect. When traveling, I find them to be firm and responsive. They are easy to remove and provide a lot of benefit off-road. Ideally you would need level ground when connecting, as well as an extra set of hands to do the job. I will use these until I lift my Jeep and switch to an automatic.

It is a good fit for the 2014 JKU Sport (no This fit perfectly on my 2014 JK Unlimited Sport without lifting, and the install was quick and simple
4/5

Just ensure that you use a small screw driver to tighten the screw while holding the metal piece. Fit is measured by the following Maintaining a level ground is the key to keeping the jeep on the road. Because of the slight slant in the parking lot where I was doing this, I had to ask somebody to stand on the passenger side of the car (uphill) to help me level the sway bar. Having to lubricate parts seems to be one of the biggest complaints. It would be nice if the bushings came pre-installed In addition to having a grease gun and zerg fitting, greased items should not be exposed to water It is a simple task for a DIY installation. Personally, I installed the car without it, however, I feel like I'll get it looked at by a mechanic.

It would have been better if I hadn't waited so It's great to be able to quickly change the swaybar links or to remove them altogether
4/5

As well as being beefier than stock, these are also much thicker. Despite the provided instructions, watching a video of how to install these was an easier way to do it if you had never done it The quality is pretty good and the gear is quite essential. It was a mistake for me to wait this long to get them.

This set of QD links is perfect for factory lifts and lifts up to 2 inches
5/5

The lift I had with me was higher, so I never used mine. If I sell them on Amazon or Ebay, it could potentially make me money. While JKS is top of the line quality, these are just too short to pass my 3 point test. You can lift up to 5" Apart from a nice coat of Reconnaissance Wax on the paint and hardware, mine are still new in the box.
