The car would wobble at 55 mph, so I could not go over it, fearing that any bump would trigger it and make me slow down to 25 mph To stop it, you have to slow it down to 35 mph. My car was taken to an auto repair shop who told me the front end was fine except for the stabilisation system. They didn't trust me so I ordered this product and it drives like a charm after a half hour and $50 for the stabilizer! My driving distance was about 15 miles at 65 mph A 70 mph speed limit over several renowned problem spots did not result in an incident. In addition, the car was much quieter and felt better to drive, no more vibrations As a moral, if you have death wobble, before you change your track bars or anything else, take a $50 gamble on the stabilizing device. My experience with this has been very positive.
This unit works well and holds up over time. Be sure to include the solid cross member side as well. Stainless steel nut is attached to the tube! The number of people who have forgotten is staggering! It's easy to install and you have to make sure there is no interference (steering wheel) between locks.
In the past five years, I've been using them on five Jeeps and trucks. I have used them on all of my vehicles, and they have never softened. They also can be installed right where the original is. In addition to the universal mounting kit, you can also use it with modified rigs. The power steering is not only prevented from snapping back when off roading, but it is also improved on the road, particularly when oversensitive power steering is used.
I feel like they should have included new nuts/bolts for the price. They only came with.
The stabilizer is excellent in quality. The road feels better than stock, and there is no more wobble associated with up-sweeping It is impossible to find tires of a certain size. Make sure that you inspect the box for the bag of hardware that sticks out. I had to search for it for 20 minutes.
I love the product and the installation was easier than I expected! My 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo steering felt a great deal more stable after I used this device. I paid half of what the local auto parts stores charged.
Turns on lifted vehicles easily and is easy to install.
It does not have a sticker or boot cover like the one A very poor paint job was also done. Here you can see that the bushings are completely painted over. It was returned without even being installed. Staying on my stabilizer in rough country.
