Everything is in place in terms of hardware.
If the Cherokee's track bar setup is the same, this item bolted right in place of the existing dampener.
Yes, the RS5401 is listed in the vehicle's catalog. It'll work with the standard tire sizes. The unit will be mounted using a combination of original equipment and included hardware. Thank you
Sorry. I'm at a loss for words.

I figured it out, but others may need to look up a proper installation procedure on the internet or on YouTube. Given the installation's relative simplicity, more documentation should have been included (even experienced technicians require it on occasion). See the following section for more information. ) The stabilizer appears to be doing its job in general. br>br>I ended up buying this because the shop where I got my tie-replacement was out of stock. The castle nut from the installed stabilizer was lost by rods and ball joints. To put it another way, they didn't properly install it, and it fell off! This isn't a joke, believe me. As a result, there was the dreaded Jeep Death Wobble, and it took nearly a month to get it fixed properly. (The wobble wasn't entirely caused by the improperly installed stabilizer, but it certainly helped! I'm not sure if I should have installed the boot or not. )br>br>I'm not sure if I should have installed the boot. We'll have to wait and see if the boot protects, or if it's just a place where dirt and grime can collect, because you can't really see it.
Jeep Cherokee Sport with 2" Lift, 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport with 2" Lift, 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport with 2" Lift The Jeep drove significantly differently after installing the lift kit, Skyjacker shocks, and larger tires. It has 170k miles on it, so I figured I'd replace the steering stabilizer as well. Don't overdo it with off-the-beaten-path activities. I decided it was time to replace it because of the wear and tear on the road. I immediately noticed a significant difference. The steering is a lot firmer now, not tight, but firm and controlled. The steering response is also improved, with less "wiggle" when turning or hitting large potholes. I'm glad I bought it overall. Great product; Rancho has always had a good reputation, and I can see why now. br>br>One thing to keep in mind. The body does not appear to be as "white" as it appears in the photo. It has a medium grey hue to it. It's not a big deal, but I thought it was worth noting.
It lacked all of the necessary hardware. I'm going to have to go out and get one. That irritates me a little. Rancho, I shouldn't have to go to the hardware store to install your stabilizer!.
Since installing this in my old Cherokee, I've gone offroading/crawling a couple of times and driven a lot of highway. This is a great replacement for your steering stabilizer if it's broken. In the front, I used RS5000 shocks. Keep your receipt; I believe it is covered by a lifetime warranty, and Rancho will replace it if it ever leaks. br>br>Another thing to keep in mind is - When you try to install one of the eyelets, the way it's angled gives the impression that it's not fully seated. After you've pushed on the stabilizer, get your head behind it and give it a good look/feel - It may appear that it isn't fully seated at times, but this is simply due to the eyelet's angle.
This feature has not yet been implemented. I'll look into it. So far. The damper is the only piece of hardware that exists.
This is a plus because many similar products do not have this feature. The stabilizer has been on my Jeep GC for two months - there were no instructions included with the product, but installation was very simple and straightforward. The shock boot has also done an excellent job of keeping dust, dirt, and grime out of the arm. I'd buy Rancho products from Amazon again in a heartbeat.
It was an excellent solution. During slick roads, I kept my wheels straight.
