The quality is excellent, and they functioned flawlessly. One of the rubber bushings, however, is not required when replacing the struts. This mount's bottom has a molded-in bushing. br>In addition, because the mount is symmetrical, you can clock it using any of the three studs. However, before disassembling the assembly, make a mark on the spring that corresponds to one of the studs on the old mount; otherwise, the holes in the frame mount will not line up, and you will have to remove the assembly and compress the spring again to align it.
These appear to be well-made, but there are no instructions, and I'm not sure how to put them together. The lower rubber bushing has a recess in the OEM part, but these have a "sleeve" that fills that space. I eventually decided to remove the lower bushing and replace it with the upper bushing as usual. Only time will tell how well this goes, but it appears to be in good shape. These are very well made, but I deducted a star for the lack of instructions.
Not an exact OEM replacement for the Toyota Sequoia; however, the impact is unknown at this time. Both sides of this insulator should have rubber bushings, according to Sequoia. There is a metal spacer that comes with this insulator that prevents you from putting the rubber bushing on the bottom. Metal against metal [bottom insulator and top of strut], to put it another way. I'm not sure what effect the rubber on the bottom of the insulator will have in the long run, but it seems to me that it will insulate.
The mounts are well-made and function effectively. These were used to replace the old ones that had worn out and needed to be replaced. When it came time to replace the struts, I swapped them out.
improved control It restores the smoothness of rutted roads. My car is a 2006 Toyota Sequoia, and I installed it myself. Wife is in a good mood.
What a difference these made during my Sequoia's journey. br>br>Would absolutely recommend these to anyone in need of new mounts.
Fits perfectly on a 2001 Toyota Tundra. Both strut mounts needed to be replaced, as well as the struts themselves.
I watched a lot of videos on how to replace the struts on my 2003 Sequoia, but none of them mentioned the mounts. The recommendation to replace these came from Bilstein technical support. Because I have 200k miles on my vehicle, it made sense to replace these mounts at the same time, saving me time and money.
