That's correct.
I didn't take measurements before and after, but any height gain was barely noticeable. My truck's hauling and towing capabilities have greatly improved.
I'm not sure how wide the spring is, but it fit my 2007 Ford F150 perfectly.

LOL. Hellwig 9510 LP was purchased by me. Hellwig 984 for a F150, and 25 for an E350 box van. My son and I installed both kits in two hours and 35 minutes after opening the boxes. I had a forklift and a large c-frame to raise the rear ends. clamp proved to be extremely useful. br>The first hardware kit I received for the 9510 was the wrong size, but that was my fault for not measuring the width of the leaf spring first; returning it was simple, and the refund came quickly. The box van, according to son, provides a much more stable ride. My F150 now handles like a pickup truck. (It reminds me of a pickup truck. ) And dragging a trailer around is a completely different experience. The height of the no-load position increased by about 1 1/2 inch. br>I'm not treating it like an F250, but it behaves as if it were. br>Invest with confidence in these items. br>AND MAKE SURE YOU MEASURE YOUR SPRING FIRST! Oh, and I had my heart set on blue springs. (They're finished in an industrial grey).
What it does is add another leaf To this, I fitted this on my Ford F150 long wheelbase. As a joke, I Adjusted the end of the spring helper a quarter inch, made sure my Center Camilion held my boats in place and got rid of any water that got in their faces. Later, I'll add a review to let you know if they work. They appear to be well-made, and they come with a lifetime guarantee. You have until June 1st, 2013 to text me and tell me if this review was helpful to you; by then, I should know. Whenever I read a review, it never seemed to have what I needed on it 304 678 5081.
I was able to do it on my own, but it took a long time, so unless you have a lot of tools, I'd recommend taking it to a mechanic. After they're installed, I'll be able to load my truck with very little lowering. This product is of excellent quality, and I am very happy with it.
To level out the bed of my 2004 F150, I installed these helpers. Due to the weight of my topper and drawer system, my F150 is on a 6" Fabtech lift, and I purchased these to level out the bed. They were installed and no difference in driving or towing was noticed. They did, however, raise the bed by about 1/2". Save up the cash and invest in airbags, or at the very least, the heavy-duty helpers.
My brake line brackets needed to be adjusted, but the rest of the installation went smoothly. It took a few tweaks to get it where these don't interfere with normal ride quality, but after 500 miles of towing a trailer, I can't complain.
ehhh. It really works. It didn't quite fit right. The only drawback is that you'll have to purchase new hardware. The bolts were not long enough.
Installing it was a breeze. The bed didn't even go down after I loaded 1 1/2 tons of patio blocks into it.
It's easier to install than air springs, and it's not as aggressive. When I added air springs to a previous truck, even 5 pounds of air sent the bed sky high without any load. This does not lift the truck's rear end; it simply prevents it from sagging. I was worried about frame clearance issues, but so far nothing has happened.
