There are two ways I've done this, you can try to pound them in with a piece of wood wedged between the control arm and jaws while you do so , but it's difficult because the control arm keeps on bending. The cost of having them pressed in is relatively low, so I recommend it.
Yes, they should. We used them in a 69 and they fit perfectly

I was able to improve the handling of my 1970 Chevelle by installing these bushings. Is a vast improvement over the stock models.
It is a tight fit, and they are as good looking as they are functional.
This is a good.
Thank you very much, you fit like a champ.
I have not installed it yet, but so far it seems to be working.
I have a 1970 El Camino.
It fits as described and works as it should.
We used these on an El Camino 72, and I was worried about how well they would fit, but they did. The white lithium was installed in a matter of minutes and it was like driving a completely different car afterward. It was a much smoother ride with no squeaking or movement in the car. The only thing I can recommend is this hotel.
