It took 25 minutes per wheel to fit a 2005 Prius with easy-to-adjust negative and positive camber

My son's 2005 Subaru prius had a habit of eating tires. I drove to Farm in my car. They attempted to align the front and rear of the fleet several times. To F& F's credit, they didn't charge for the alignment (despite the fact that it took a long time), and the front ended up with negative camber on both sides. br>br>I simply tightened the bolts and checked the original camber with a magnetic (BESITA Adjustable Magnetic Gauge), then added positive camber. This should hopefully resolve the issue. br>br>I'm very pleased with the bolts; installing, adjusting, and tweaking the camber was a breeze. br>It took about 25 minutes per wheel to complete the entire process. br>Place the car in the side slot beneath the front door and jack it up. br>Pull the tire, reinstall the wheel nuts, and check the current setting with the brake disk gauge. br>Loosen the lower strut bolt, remove the top strut bolt, and replace it with the new Adjust bolt. br>Adjust the camber as needed, then tighten everything up. br>br>I like that the torque specification is printed on the package for the new bolts. br>br>The bolt kit has exceeded my expectations.

I used these today to adjust the front camber on my mother-in-law's 1998 Toyota rav4 4 door after installing new front struts; her car had 2 degrees of positive camber per wheel, so I set them to. It should help with her outer tire wear if she has 5 degrees positive camber per wheel and 1/8" tow in.
