It comes in a set of two and is an excellent product at a fair price.
Yes. They're incredibly hard. It's what they're meant to be. From a reputable repair shop, it came highly recommended. I put them on before heading out to the Uwharrie National Forest's trails, and they worked perfectly.
They should, but I'd double-check by calling the manufacturer.
Yes, it will work for your calendar year of 2012. That's what I have; I'm not sure how often you'll go down and hit them with a 4 inch lift, but they'll fit in the slot. ) Watch some installation videos. They made some excellent suggestions, such as spraying with soapy water and the like. My first one slid right in without a hitch. I had to put in a little more effort on the second one.

Jeep JKU model year 2012. Seriously, it's a piece of cake to replace. You simply reach up and remove the old bump stock. To install the sumo springs, fill a spray bottle halfway with soapy water and coat the top of the spring as well as the inside of the cavity you'll be putting it in. It takes some effort to get it in, but it's not too difficult. I just returned from the Jeep trails in the Uwharrie National Forest. I'd like to believe that it had an impact. ) For a visual reference, see the attached images.
Beaches and washboards are ideal locations for this item. The bumpstops are less painful with these. These are well worth the money if you frequently drive on sand or bottom out your bump stops at high speeds.
When you hit bumps, these definitely reduce slamming. The money was well spent.
I used them before going with hydraulic bumps, and they're better for the price. However, on hard bottoming, they behave almost identically to stock ones, but for the price, they're a good buy.
They match the description exactly.
These are a little pricey for what they are, but they are well-made and perform admirably. Much less expensive than the King hydraulic bump stops I have up front, despite the fact that they are a completely different technology and are absolutely fantastic.
It was a piece of cake. They were exactly the same as the OEM ones, only longer and made of a higher-quality material. I'm out in the boonies collecting rocks with a 5x8 cargo trailer, and my JK handles beautifully. Although I don't believe it was necessary, I did apply some RTV/silicone to the mount plate. I'm a little anemic.
When towing a boat, this product eliminates the need to squat in the back.
