Update: These are effective, but they don't last long in a moderately humid environment. a lot of use If I could go back in time, I would save up the extra cash to get the genuine article. (Hydro bumps from king or fox) I've since switched to cheaper fat cellular poly bumps from wheeler's and the ride is nearly identical for a fraction of the price. br>I've reduced my rating from 5 to 2 starsbr>br>Original review: br>These bump stops are excellent value for money; I installed them on my 2008 Tacoma with a 6 inch lift and the ride quality improved immediately. I attached a video camera to the suspension and drove over some whoops to get some air while watching it work. Because of the even progressiveness of the design, I had no idea I was coming into contact with the stingers while watching the video. Then I decided to jump the truck, which took about 4-minutes. a height of 5 feet (Yes, I caught it on video as well;) ) The landing was bumpy, as expected, but they handled it admirably. One thing to keep in mind is that the stinger is around 6 inches long when fully compressed. This is a 5 inch long piece with one blue and one black insert that has never been used. I'm very pleased with them.
Purchase air bumps to save money. mine . junk. Purchase air bumps to save money. After just one wheeling trip, my wheels are rattling and clanking. My preferred method of movement is crawling rather than racing.
I'll update once I've had a chance to use these bump stops more, but they appear to be a good product. Installed on a 2012 Jeep Wrangler.
25" Extended Universal Stinger Bump Stop, 5" Collapsed These were chosen over other gas bump stops because of their smaller packaging. It looks great, but I won't be able to stuff the suspension into my wagon for a while. They're enshrined in all their splendor right here. 290 and 313th threads br>br>.
