What are these like to What's the deal with the bolt?

It is attached to a metal plate by a 3/8" bold that protrudes from the bottom of the bump stop. One inch is about how long the bolt is.

Is it possible to find out how hot these are? I'm mounting them up, but the exhaust seems to be too close to them?

Well, we bolted them to number I installed 5 unch spring perches and welded them to my axle. Quite a bit.

The dirtbound mounts on the Jeep XJ are ideal for this

I have my Dirtbound offroad bumpstop mounts on my jeep xj and they work great with these. The number I have is A 5" lift paired with a 35x12 is also available. The tires on my 50-inch wheels and the fenders on my vehicle have been cut and folded. Although I anticipated that I would need to trim these bumpstops, they are just the right size to keep my tires from eating into.

This is an excellent choice for a 2000 Jeep Cherokee

Set the OEM bumper stops on the differential using the OEM bumper stops on the frame. I found it to be an incredible I had to cover the bottom of the shocks with hard rubber to prevent them from bottoming This was a custom job, but that is why they call it universal. It was an excellent piece that suited my needs perfectly.

One of the best bumps I have ever experienced on my Jeep

The system has been in place for three months. These bumps have a slight compression to them, so they make bumps feel smooth! There has not been any melting or warping when I've mounted one next to exhaust, but I do not recommend this.
