On my 1999 Ford F150, it was no problem at all to install. In addition to shortening the bolts on the drivers' side, I also moved the lines away from the bolt. It works for me and I like it. At the fill valve, make sure there is a T. Amazon is where I purchased it. I wish you the best of.

It was a pleasure to install my second set on my pickup
3/5

During a recent installation on my 1999 Chevy Silverado LS single cab, short wheelbase, I installed this. Having installed a set on it twice now, it's the second time. I was about eight when I got my first one A bag needs to be 10 years old before it fails from aging. Several of the air bags, including one on the left side, had failures in the rubber and on the right side, the rubber that molds into a hard surface at the air inlet separates and fails. The issue is likely related to the service life of the equipment. If I had ordered just the air bags, it wouldn't have been an issue, but I wanted the lower U-channel system In addition, when I attempted to remove bolt mounts and take out an air inlet fitting, I had problems. The air pressure was held at 20 PSI for an hour and everything was reused from the first set. In the future, I will buy from you.

Sadly, it did not fit
5/5

There's nothing I can do about it. There was no help from Air Lift. To begin with, let me just say a few words. Be sure that your tires have a gap of at least six inches between the inside of the tire and the outside of the The truck I own is stock, but I forgot to verify this very important aspect. After eight holes were drilled and four hours later, I inflated the bags, only to find that one of the bags pressed There is no room in these bags for a 2004 Silverado LT 1500. I was able to remove, repackage, and return the airbags for a full refund thanks to Amazon. You need exactly 25 inches between the inside of your tire and the frame of your car. I can't imagine a better service in the entire If you are planning to drill holes in an Air Lift product, make sure you carefully read their very tough to understand instructions before making any It took me a long time to learn a hard lesson and I only wrote this review to try to prevent others from making the same mistake I did.

that there is at least 6 inches between your screen and the wall
5/5

This is what I installed on a 02 Chevy Silverado 1500 8ft box, it took about two hours. Drilling the holes was easy, I took the air lines inside a larger tube because I ran them through the frame, hopefully this prevented the air lines from rubbing. You only have to read the directions to install it. It has different things to do for each vehicle type. The photo can be seen that there was plenty of room for my bags I had 7 14.

Firstly, I am happy to report that my trailer tows true for the first time
4/5

I had to drill holes to mount the monitor, so it took me some time to install it. They look great and my trailer tows true for the first time since I bought it. It calls for a self-tapping bolt, but I wanted a stronger bolt. There is a significant improvement in the ride and brakes of my truck. Those who tow anything at all with a 1/2 ton pickup should consider investing in these.

I used this for my application and it worked well
3/5

My 1997 Ford F150 was able to utilize this kit perfectly. I needed this for my 35 foot travel trailer to be hauled. The installation is pretty straightforward and any mechanic in the backyard should be able to do it. To drill the 8 holes in your frame, get a 3/8" drill bit that's of good quality.

A double, triple check of clearance is required Putting your trust in the manual is a mistake
4/5

Make sure that your tire clearance is sufficient from the frame to the Both Amazon and the manual say 6", which I do have, but that didn't seem to be The installation went smoothly and there was clearance between the tire and the bag when the tire was The amount of time is not When I used them for my one trip, the bags appeared to work well enough, but tire rub led to them popping even before I reached *For reference, the manufacturer replied to a question on this listing that 7" is actually required for this item I was disappointed that neither the manual nor the item description agrees with that. It's a waste of money and time in my case, but if you have 7" or more, you should be fine. I can't speak to long-term results because I don't have one. As only one trip lasted, they were not durable in the long term.

Please read the instructions completely before you start
5/5

My 2005 Silverado 1500 fit excellently. As I mentioned above, the instructions are clear if you read through them completely before you start. My springs were VERY stressed and pretty well flat, so if yours are like that, be sure to read them before you start. If you want to lift the frame high enough to fit the alignment tool into the wheel well, you must place the jack on the FRAME, not the axle. In order to fit the alignment tool under my wheel well, I cut down the tool, but I soon realized the air bag wouldn't fit. It has only been a week since they have been working and they have been It's time to quit squatting out of my half-ton.
