Update on 2 months after the original article I have edited
3/5

A recent update on the situation It took me a long time to write this review and read other reviews. Because the cheap sensor causes my car not to start when hot, now I know the cause of the problem. Basically, buying this sensor is worth it if you want to save money. Despite the price being right, it was a great deal. Amazon had given me an OBD2 reader to diagnose my service engine light, accompanied by periodic power cuts (accompanied by ABS and SLIP lights), and periodic power cuts. On a 2003 Nissan 350Z, this can be seen. I identified the crankshaft position sensor as the issue I placed my order for this set based on the right bank. This is the only right bank one that I have installed. In my honest opinion, I am unable to see how the left one could be installed without extensive The right bank was extremely difficult to work on. There were wires harnessed, attached to a bracket, directly beside the one securing bolt. There was barely enough room for a small socket to reach the head of the bolt. A crescent wrench was the key to getting it open. This means you will need a 10 mm box end wrench to do the A short piece of wire connects the wiring harness to the sensor. The sensor is extremely tight, and the cable is just long enough to reach the end. A very limited amount of play was taken part in. Worried about damaging the wiring harness or connector, I did not touch them. As difficult as it was to swap this out, I cannot emphasize it enough. I encourage you to read this Tying fishing line to everything you own will do you a favor My small socket wrench is going away! Aside from that, it is hard to tell how the sensor is oriented. There is a small gap between the sensor and the horizontal plane. The hole for the bolt is located around the following number, if you were to look at the back of the engine block The event was supposed to begin at 9 a. m. When I bought the bolt, it cost me $00, and I couldn't get the bolt going. Many times, I wished I had tied a line around the bolt first. I held off on rating this because I wanted to wait to see if it worked over a period of time. It did immediately fix the problem. In reality, the car has slowly become less apt to start when it is hot, and it seems to get worse over time. Currently there have been no codes generated from ODB2, but I suspect that this replacement sensor is getting faulty. It is possible that the cheapest isn't always the best. The matter will be followed up by me.

Does what it's supposed to do
3/5

This sensor cost me about 1/5 of the price at the local auto store, so I did not hesitate to buy it. The sensor I installed was the only one I had. The good thing is that it fit like the original, began and ran smoothly, and it resolved the sensor error There is nothing good about this. I experienced some difficulty restarting my vehicle every time I shut it off after driving until it had gotten warm. It would not start again for about 30 minutes until the engine cooled down. However, it often displayed a catalyst error code on a computer which didn't trigger the cam sensor. Rather than contemplate the issue any longer, I bit the bullet and purchased a $100 OEM sensor from Amazon to solve it.

It's not worth your time
3/5

My Cam Shaft sensor had been alerting me for some time. I bought these to replace the old ones. They worked fine and the car worked fine for a while, but after several hours of driving, the car gets very hot. It may not start right away. Turn it off at a later time and try again. Not a thing. It happened four times in a row. Once it cools off and the sensors kick on, the car begins to run.
I took it to a mechanic and had it seen by a technician. There is a problem with the cam shaft sensor. Rather than saving up for the costly OEM Cam Shaft Sensors, I bit the bullet and bought them Worked a treat for me. Applied for a refund after returning the sensors.

This is bad! It is not recommended that you buy these if your Nissan Xterra is equipped with the 4l V6 engine
3/5

It is designed to fit Nissan Xterra 4 model year 2006. The 0l V6 4x4 is a 4x4 with a V6 engine. My valve covers were still working fine when I changed them, but due to high mileage, I replaced them. Previously, the vehicle worked as it should. I installed both then went off for a quick test drive. Everything appears to be working properly. It kept stopping every time I tried to start it after driving it about 20 miles on its first ignition and then when I turned it back on, it would not start. Once it turned over and over and over again, I finally gave up and called for help. The engine just locked up after I turned off the key and tried to turn it over again. It turned over twice and then I had to turn it off and on again. In the following moments, it was not turning over, it just clicked. In order to clear the plugs, I immediately removed the 2 new sensors and installed the old ones. Immediately, the engine fired. It has been running fine ever I have a 2006 Nissan Xterra with the 4WD and I also have the 1. 6L engine. It is not good to have a 0l V6 engine!.

The effect lasts for a short time
3/5

I bought this part at autozone for $80 for a 2008 Nissan frontier 4, so I decided to take my chances. I read a few positive reviews, but some negative ones as well. So getting both camshaft sensors for $20 is a great deal, but unfortunately it only lasted for two months before going bad again, so I was forced to buy the $80 part from Auto Zone. In addition, it's a pain in the asses to replace this part in the first place, so you're better off just buying an OEM part instead.
This part may be cheap but it definitely won't last.

You will be sorry if you buy these as a 350Z owner
3/5

Having my 2004 350ZR serviced at a shop after I had the crankshaft sensor replaced, I had these installed (preventative maintenance). I noticed a thin trail of smoke coming from under the hood after a week. There was not enough grip on the sensors. Once again, all is well after I purchased OEM parts, had them installed by a shop (paid for a second installation) and now all is well.

I was too good to be true about the price
3/5

The camshaft sensors on my Infiniti G35 seem to need replacing every three or four In hopes of saving some money, I decided to do it. Since I tried replacing them myself in the past, I contacted my mechanic to see if he could use the parts I bought. The sensor was purchased by me, and then installed by my technician. When I tried to start my car after spending $100 on labor, it refused to work. My previous bad pair of tires would have allowed me to get to the shop with my car. My approval led him to purchase and install more expensive NAPA OEM sensors that worked well. It's a waste of money to buy these sensors. The products may be cheaply manufactured junk from abroad. There is nothing I can say other than that my car wouldn't start after installation.

The cam sensor on the Nissan Altima 3 is either the crankshaft or cam sensor
5/5

Having only needed the one with the curved top, I ordered both, since they were both very reasonably priced. Installation was easy. It is held in place by a single bolt and I used a #10 socket with a 1/4 ratchet and about a 6" extension to remove it. The piggyback clip had been destroyed, and the wires were exposed, so it was a little more difficult to figure out what was going on.
