Questions & Answers

Is the 2015 Fusion 2 up to par? Is it possible that there are two of these sensors in 0 EcoBoost, or are they two different sensors?

The sensors used are of two types. The first is CM5250, which is located near the brake master cylinder on the fuel rail behind the engine and was replaced one at a time to correct a stalling problem after restart; the CM5250 appears to have solved our problem (2 weeks, no stalling).

Is this the sensor that connects to the oil fill cap, or is it tucked away behind the motor?

This one is connected to the engine, and if your fusion is stalling, this will completely solve the problem. It's a cinch to replace.

How steep is the tread on your tires?

It threads into 1/8"-diameter holes and seals them. tubing of various thicknesses A 27 NPT hole was sealed with PTFE tape. I inserted mine into a fuel pressure regulator with an adjustable gauge port. However, I'm guessing Ford's setup differs slightly in order for the O-ring to work. Seal with a ring. ring.

Mustang Ecoboost 2 owners will love this upgrade
5/5

Fuel pressure sensor on the low side of a 3L tank. To begin with, this item is a low-side fuel pressure sensor, not an acceleration sensor, as it appears on Amazon. I hope this information is useful to you. br>br>On all 2015-model year vehicles, a low side fuel pressure sensor was installed at the factory. Mustang Ecoboost 2 is currently in production. BU5A- is assigned to 3L. 9F972- BA is prone to failure on the sensor itself, which can result in catastrophic engine damage. This is the BU5A-, which is a newer, revised fuel pressor sensor. 9F972- The old one, which is still in use on the Ecoboost 2 Mustang. The 3L model is designated as BU5A-. 9F972- Just keep in mind that BA stands for BAD. As you can see in my photo, the new sensor has a hole in it as well as notches cut into it. Consider this preventative maintenance and replace it as soon as possible. You'll be glad you did, because otherwise, you might end up going Ecoboom.

I fixed my sluggish idling in 2015 2
5/5

The Ford Fusion 0T is a vehicle with a four-cylinder engine. My 2015 Ford Fusion 2 was having problems. 0T with a sluggish idle and stalling on occasion. After conducting extensive research, this was the recommended solution. Yes, it was resolved! br>br>On the 2, you'll find two sensors. This is the one on the driver's side of the fuel rail near the firewall; there is another one on the passenger side of the engine, but this is NOT the part for that one. Because the line is pressurized, leave the engine running overnight if you can. Hold the bottom of the line where the sensor screws in with a 12mm open ended wrench. It's not easy, but it's doable, followed by a deep 15/16th or metric equivalent to remove the sensor. Keep in mind that this thing is cranked up to 11. It took about a mile after the installation for the idle issue to be resolved, and that was the end of it. br>br>Please keep in mind that if you call an auto parts store in my area, they will not have this part! They will have the other sensor that I mentioned, but not this one; I couldn't even find it in a cross-reference. Furthermore, when I entered my vehicle information, Amazon informed me that this item would not fit my vehicle. You can rest assured that it fits and performs as expected. This part has been updated to include a weep hole for this application. br>br>I hope this is helpful, as it took me a long time to research!.

The 2013 Lincoln MKZ 2 is compatible with this part
5/5

0 Ecoboost. About two weeks ago, I started having problems with the car driving at low speeds; it would not accelerate and would shut off while driving. (After a 20-minute break from driving, all of this occurred. ) Engine oil pressure low, check engine light on, and error code P0087 were among the errors I received. Fortunately, the car ran without issue after a few restarts. After doing some research online, I discovered that the Fuel Pressure Sensors need to be replaced. I replaced the Low Pressure Fuel Sensor (Motorcraft CM5250) and haven't had any problems since (amazon car fitting says it won't fit Lincoln MKZ 2) 0; however, it is appropriate). It's a simple project that can be completed by yourself. I've included a photograph of the sensor's location. I hope this information is useful.

A vital update has been made
5/5

A new sensor with a c code has been added to the system. At idle, air/fuel was all over the place before the sensor change. Since the change, it has remained stable and has become slightly richer when throttled. It's worth it just for the peace of mind. Oh, and it gave me 500 horsepower and cured my common cold, too. br>br>.

My 2016 Ford Escape is compatible with this product
5/5

The CM5250 and CM5225 appear to be incompatible with the 2016 Ford Escape, but they actually do. On my vehicle, I received the P018C code "Fuel pressure sensor "B" Circuit Low" and ended up replacing both fuel rail sensors at the same time; they both fit perfectly, and the code is no longer present, and the vehicle runs perfectly again.

Stall On Restart in a 2013 Ford Fusion Ecoboost has been resolved
5/5

Low pressure sensor on the fuel line was easy to replace and was the correct part for a 2013 Ford Fusion Ecoboost that had stalling issues after restarting. The old faulty sensor was causing it to throw a code and cause the engine to stall out when restarted; once replaced, it has not done so and the car has been fixed for about three weeks.

I've found the best price - Installing it is easy
5/5

On my 2015 Mustang Ecoboost Premium package, this was a quick and simple part to replace. Installed after the car had been left to cool for a while to ensure that nothing would ignite if it leaked. In less than 5 minutes, I replaced the part in my garage. Time limit: ten minutes When I replaced the valve, there was no leaking or dripping. You simply unclip and unscrew the previous one before screwing and clipping this one in place. The first time I fired it up, there were no problems.
