Scosche HA08BCB Compatible with Select 1998-08 Honda Power/Speaker Connector / Wire Harness for Aftermarket Stereo Installation with Color Coded Wires and Pre-installed Wire Connectors

The Honda logo looks like a plate of spaghetti, because Honda used their own color codes. You don't appear to be able to get it to connect with what you need to connect with. Although I was installing a Kenwood unit I found the plug to be a perfect match and clicked securely into the factory plug. And the wires from the adapter match the color codes on the unit. There are preinstalled crimp connectors which work perfectly well and make this a better deal than it would have been without them at all. As I mentioned, before ordering this, I did a search to see if I could get one locally so that the installation could be performed on The only one I found in stock was about $17 at one of the big box stores. This means that there are no I just took a leap of faith and plugged the stock plug into the car since I couldn't see what was going where on the factory harness plug. It is with great pleasure that I can report This can be as easy as matching the color codes of the wires from this adapter to the wires from the plug that came with the Kenwood stereo, crimping the connections, and plugging it all I found some wires on the other units that weren't used in 2 wires that connect to the display to dim the lights, 2 wires that are labeled as power antenna and amplifier, and two orange wires that would connect to the display. I found it to be very easy to work For those of you who have a Honda eligible for this plug, all you have to do is match the wires from your stereo unit to the ones on the adapter according to the color codes on the adapter's packaging and the stereo's installation manual. It is better to look at Scosche's website for this part's specifications than Amazon! For a 2004 Honda Odyssey, I used this wiring harness set as a replacement. Although Amazon says that this product is not compatible, I checked on Scosche's website for more information, and I found it to be compatible with numerous models beyond my 1998 Honda Accord. As a result, I would prefer using this product instead of a standard harness to save myself the trouble. There were a number of options available to me. On the wires of this part no, you can see the butt connectors. I was able to complete this project faster by using this set. Rather than relying solely on Amazon's information, it is a good idea to check another source.

The plastics are not of the best quality, which forces me to take one star off There are two wires that kept coming out of the socket*wonder why so I had to secure them with tape and wire ties

I am not a beginner on this end of the installation process, however. Over the past 30+ years, I've done installing a lot of systems This makes it easier to crimp each wire. When crimping each wire it gives you a nice, clean installation.

My time was saved because I did not have to buy I was able to color coordinate everything. In less than five minutes, we had the radio installed. You may also want to consider getting a radio kit for your 2003 Honda Odyssey. It is possible to install a double din in this vehicle as well. There is a part you see around the radio that can be removed. To get to the radio screws, you just need to remove these two pieces.

The 2003 Odyssey is perfectly suited for this. Each wire of the package has an exact identification of what it is used for. is a very easy way to connect to my aftermarket stereo, took me about 5 minutes to do It usually takes around ten minutes to connect with each other. Since I researched this can blow dash panel lights and fuses in odyssey 2003, I don't connect headlight dim or anything like that.

Was about to return this, but the return window closed on the 18th, so I'm requesting a refund since this may have burned my radio. However, the car movement is what causes the radio to start turning off suddenly so, any time the car moves the radio goes out.
