Adding LED lights to this harness is a great idea. Depending on the application, they come with one or two leads. This means that they are ready to be installed with one or two lights, depending upon whether you want to go traditional or modern. plug-in connectors for each light are included as well, so that is an added bonus. Here is a picture of the plug/connector for the lights, so you can see what they look like. The relay may seem like a redundant piece of equipment with low powered LEDs, but it's still OK to have it in case you decide to switch to larger lights or halogens The harness that I will use on my motorcycle will be in my case. The seat is a little too long for my use, which is great for cars, but not for motorcycles since there is not as much room as you would expect in these vehicles. I am not sure why some have been negatively rated as it was easy to install with no tools, plugging and playing, and affordable. The product is really cool, even though I had a problem at the beginning, but I fixed it, as it was my own fault, as I stretched the negative cable to the battery, and once it was installed it did not work. I then went back and found the disconnect. Getting the job done perfectly. I am very pleased with this product. All right guys, thanks for your help.

Wiring harnesses like this one make my life so much easier. In addition, I am very impressed with the quality of the work. From my perspective, this shows that there is no reason to spend $60+ on a name brand alternative from the top tier of light bar manufacturers. It's hard for me to imagine that they are all that much better without knowing the quality of each. A second one was just ordered for my Baja Designs Squadron Sports and I currently use it to power lights on my Xterra. There are only bare red and black wires in the Baja harness this kit almost entirely uses heat shrink to protect it. I only made one change, which was to add It is recommended that you use 5 inch heat shrink at the relay and connecting terminals of the relay. There is probably no need for them, but I had a few lying Then I will also buy them in the future, as long as it does not burn down my rig lol!.

Because the relay had an ignition on signal, I figured I could run a constant power and then a switched power from an ignition source. It turns out that wasn't possible. Whenever there is power to the switch, the switch is on. It would be great if I could cut the yellow wire and run it to an ignition on source, but I have not heard anything back from them. Other than that, I'm not sure what the relay is for, but it works and the push buttons make the interface feel nice.

It is too big. Because it had everything that I needed to install aux lights on my 2007 BMW R1200GS, I purchased it. This harness was lacking in a few important aspects (the switch, fuse, relay, cable to the aux lights, and waterproof disconnect cables)
The switch was the biggest disappointment. I found it to be not very sturdy nor waterproof and it came with double sided tape to mount it. In this case, I obtained a waterproof handlebar switch on Amazon and cut off the original switch and replaced it with I am very pleased with the Designed to work with a wide range of off-road vehicles The length of all the cables was too long for my setup, so I had to use a road vehicle. Nothing to worry about. As soon as I mounted the lights I used waterproof crimp connectors, heat shrink tubing, and an expandable hose to route the shortened harness to the bike. I was able to mount the relay and fuse underneath the seat to protect them from moisture. As a result of the purchase, I am very happy. Installing the harness took some time, but it is well designed, and I didn't damage it in any way when I cut and spliced. It has been a great experience using the additional aux lights on my bike. I highly recommend this item for anyone looking to add this capability to their bike. After all the modifications I have made to the wiring harness, I have had no issues after following the installation diagram. I am not very comfortable with electrical work on bikes, but the installation diagram is clear and easy to follow.

To wire the pod lighting on the hood of my truck, I used these. There will be enough slack for wherever you intend to run the wire to, so you shouldn't worry about running out. It comes with a fuse as well, so you don't have to worry about connecting it. The only thing left to do is connect the battery and you're ready to go. Due to the fact I had the most basic battery connectors on my old truck, I had to use a nut to attach it. The leads have an option to connect to a plug, which I like. My installation was a lot easier because of that! In other words, the adhesive to hold the switch wasn't very strong, and mine started to fall off after a day or two. Surely it is due to the fact that I brushed the dust off with my hand instead of taking a rag and scrubbing it off. I had some spare 3m tape so I tore off the old and put that on instead, and it stayed in place.

I returned mine after receiving When I purchased it, I had originally intended to use it to run an LED light strip on Both packages were returned because the lights were not suitable and they did not work. Purchased them because they were recommended as a package deal. This did not make good sense to me since it is a product for two different parts of the Yet the wiring and package seemed to be solid and not flimsy in construction. If you're detailing the roof of your vehicle with headlights, I think the length of the shaft is sufficient.
