Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
Extremely compact - This horn is a one-of-a-kind 1pc. It's extremely simple to install on any surface thanks to the design! It's not only small, but it also doesn't need an external air compressor! All you have to do now is connect it to a 12v power source and you're ready to go! This is one of the tiniest direct-drive horns available.
At 139dB, a synchronized twin tone sound (530Hz and 680Hz) is produced.
Compressor is water resistant and runs at 18 amps at 12 volts.
Works with any 12 volt system (car, truck, motorcycle, golf cart, RV, bus, Rhino, Gator, ATV, boat, Hi-Lo, and so on).

Questions & Answers

Is it possible to connect this to the stock horn circuit for 10 a.m.? Or must you use a higher ampererelay to operate it?

No, the stock circuit, which is rated at 10 amps, will not be able to handle it. So I used a separate line with a 30 amp relay to connect it directly to the battery. br>I bought the kit from the same company that sells it.

Is it necessary to have a separate compressor for this horn? Is the compressor separate from the unit, or is it built in?

The unit includes a compressor. It will replace the original horn in most cases.

Is the relay included in this?

For a few people, I've installed a couple of these horns. Both of the relays that came with the horn failed at about the same time, so I replaced them with Bosch relays, which have worked flawlessly ever since.

278db total output if two horns are used?

Are you implying that combining two horns will double the output? That isn't how sound works at all. Your output would be in the 143 dB to 145 dB range if you combined two of them. Garret Garret Garret Garret Garret Garret Garret Garre

Two of the experiments were unsuccessful
3/5

Is it necessary for me to place a third order? In the previous year, I ordered two (2) of these horns. The first one took place in April. It was put in by a friend who works at a Toyota body shop. This is what my Toyota Tacoma looks like. It was a huge success. Although only for a short time, I must say that I do not use my horn very often, but when I do, I rely on it to function properly. to jolt the other driver awake (who is usually engrossed in their phone or otherwise preoccupied)! br>br>This horn is VERY loud, which I like. However, by July, I had noticed that it wasn't as loud. "It's cutting out and only getting a small portion of the air it needs," my friend explained when I returned it to him. It was squeaky and weak. In the event that the horn failed completely, I ordered another by August for "the shelf. " It had vanished by the middle of August! I'm not sure if it's because of a faulty rubber seal or what, but I had NO HORN at all. Fortunately, I had another on hand and was able to put it together myself. We're back on track. br>br>Cut to today (April 2018), and the second one is failing in the same way! It's a pain in the neck. I'm now torn between buying another and looking for something different. However, every other horn I've come across on the internet - Alternatively, you can listen to the music on YouTube. This one's sounds are nothing compared to this one's. What should I do? br>br>How do I proceed? br>I can't drive across Texas with a wimpy, milk toast horn that squeaks, whines, and pusses!.

This is the quickest upgrade you'll ever make to your bike! On my 2007 Honda Shadow Spirit VT750C2, I ordered the Stebel nautilus horn along with this wiring harness to replace the stock horn, and it was a breeze to install
5/5

To remove your gas tank and hide the wires along the existing wiring harness, you'll need some basic knowledge, but it's completely foolproof if you have basic tools and common sense. This is by far the best upgrade I've ever made to the bike. The horn is significantly louder than the standard horn. At 4 inches away, this Stebel nautilus reaches 140db, while the stock horn barely reaches 50db! You'll need this horn to be seen on the streets, believe me. I have Vance and Hines pipes and used to run straight pipe, and I've still had people cut me off in traffic because they didn't hear me. When I honk my old stock clown horn, no one notices or laughs. Now that I have this upgrade, I can't wait to honk at all the idiot drivers out there, and I hope they bring a change of underwear on their next road trip. br>I'd compare the tone to that of a train horn. The sound of a train horn is made up of high and low tones combined. Just buy the Stebel nautilus horn and this wiring harness for me. Wouldn't you want to be noticed on the road if it was your life behind bars?.

Until it fails, it'll be cheap and loud
3/5

I'm having the same issue and complaining about the same thing as all of the previous low-income people. Reviewers who have been tasked with scoring have had their work cut out for them. When it was first installed, the horn was incredibly loud and impressive. The horn then gradually became less and less loud over time. It hasn't completely failed yet, has it? br>However, despite the fact that it is relatively inexpensive. I don't believe it's fair for a manufacturer to sell a faulty product at a low price in the hopes that people will simply buy another one when their current one fails.

When you ride your bike through the city, you
5/5

You must have this horn if you ride a bike in the city! This horn has been on several of my motorcycles, and installing it on my 2011 BMW R1200RT was no easy task. However, the extra effort was well worth it! br>Wake up that snoozing, eye-rolling monster. putting on makeup, reading a book Reading, oatmeal-eating cager on his way back to Awarenessville! br>I mention it at every meeting, and the uninitiated rider is allowed to stand near the front of the bike and scare them anyway! Even when you least expect it, you'll be surprised by how much these Stebel boys meant when they built this gem. br>Get one today, ride around, and scare the living daylights out of any zombies who dare to step off the sidewalk into your path!.

Drivers who are distracted by their cell phones are awoken
4/5

I purchased this horn for my BMW F800GS because the OEM horn wasn't much better than yelling through a full face helmet. This horn is LOUD and will draw attention to itself. Many people who were staring at their phones were startled by my presence. I'd give it five stars if it weren't for two things: the harness was terrible, and I had to replace it with a waterproof version. I also wish the horn's "ramp up" was a little faster. Because it's an air horn, it starts up quickly and loudly, but you can tell there's a ramp up period (maybe a quarter second) as the air pressure builds. This horn would cause heart attacks on the freeway if that wasn't present and the horn started at maximum volume.

I installed it in a Mazda Miata and was quite pleased with the results; it's a very small and loud air horn
3/5

A relay, which is included in the package, is required for installation. I installed it in a Mazda Miata and was quite pleased with the results, despite the fact that the provided instructions are a little hazy, and there is a cloth disk (perhaps a filter?). ) to which the hazy instructions made no reference. The horn ceased to function after about 5 weeks. The relay had failed, as determined by some troubleshooting. The relay would turn on and off, but no current would flow through it. The horn worked fine when powered directly (bypassing the relay). I looked for warranty information and found an email address on the Stebel website, but I have yet to receive a response. I'll wait and see what happens, and if I get a response, I'll post it here.

It appears to be sturdy, but the instructions are lacking and the size is small
3/5

This is my first attempt at playing this horn; I have yet to hook-up. all the way up to my motorcycle After that, I'll add the functionality review and follow up with a six-month update. But, given the poor quality of the instructions and lack of part identification, I can already see this being a challenge. I had to scan the instructions so that I could enlarge them and see everything. They're probably trying to save money on printer ink. 3/2/19 - br>br> UPDATE: br>I purchased and received a WOLO wiring kit to aid in the installation process. Regardless of the wireharness, it's worth getting because they have a good set of instructions. See the attached image for instructions and a diagram. Today I'll walk you through the installation of this horn and wiring on your Ninja 650R. I'll post a short-term result first, followed by a long-term result.
