In my 2004 Acura TSX, I needed to replace BOTH of the headlights' ballasts and igniters due to a shorted arc. I got a quote from the dealership (just for fun) for We have to pay $9. 00 for both headlights to be repaired. A total of $175 was spent on the 4 parts on Amazon. I spent $10. 00! The task took us two hours (we are total beginners), and we used a DIY video we found on You Tube as our guide. The only tools we needed were a flat head screwdriver and a 10mm socket wrench. As they are so thin, my plastic clips were broken because they are old and frail. I recommend buying new plastic clips. Compared to my older HID headlights, I can actually say that they are brighter than ever! I found this product for a great price on Amazon!.

It was hard to insert the bulb because of this design, let alone turn the bulb to lock it in place. The metal contact clip on the electrical contact snapped when I tried to "crush" it a bit to allow the bulb to seat properly. Metal with a high degree of brittleness. Although I was able to get it to work anyways, I'm not surprised by how poor the quality of this component is Whether it will last or not is yet to be determined.

To fix an Acura TL headlight that stopped working, I ordered this igniter as well as a ballast. It is GenXenon that sells both products. As in my case, I needed to remove the bumper cover and headlight in order to access the ballast and igniter, so it made sense to buy both at once. I had numerous questions prior to installation, and GenXenon responded quickly and thoroughly to each one. My headlights are now working again after putting in the new ballast and igniter completely without incident. The ballast is recommended, but make sure that it is a good fit for your car before purchasing.

When another of my headlights turned on, a buzzing sound would be heard, then a few minutes later it would turn off. Despite trying to change the bulb, it didn't work. For more than 3 months, I have had no problems with the light after purchasing this igniter and a new ballast. I have already purchased another one of these, since it is doing the same thing as my other headlight. parts are cheaper than authentic Acura parts and, based on my experience, they work just as well.

My only regret is that I did not order this sooner and better understood how the system worked and how to install the HIDs. Light touch is the secret to success. It took a lot of patience and wrist twisting to get this in. Thanks to my new headlights, I am able to see clearly.

I'm very pleased with it. I replaced it with the other part since it is such a hassle to remove the headlight assembly from the car. Rather than possibly having to take the bumper off again, I decided to replace this part as well. However, I do not like the fact that the plastic connector is longer than the factory version, so the rubber seal may not be effective. In case you didn't know, I didn't purchase any of the items you mentioned Both sides should be replaced simultaneously when the plug & socket are the same Although I bought the second copy and the third one, there was a problem with the seal Added it to my computer. The system works well and everything is in order So far, I haven't run into any problems.

I purchased one for my 2004 Acura Tsx and it works great! I just replaced the ignitor and it started working instantly! Thankfully, my ballast was still intact so I had to replace only the ignitor! The way I was trying to plug it in was as difficult as it could be if you're not going to remove the bumper or the headlight - my hands wouldn't fit on the driver's side so I had my friend plug it in since his hands are smaller than mine.
