For older vehicles, this is a good upgrade

For my old Chevy 1500, this is a fantastic upgrade. Extra rocket switches can be stored in a compartment on the truck. I expected it to just snap in, but I had to use my dremel to carve out a spot. Tested with the truck battery and a 9 volt battery, it appears to be accurate.

I'm not sure why it won't fit into the rocker switch in my dash

It's a nice USB rocker, but it didn't fit the original cuts on my boat dashboard, so I ordered a second one from another seller. However, if you can get your hands on this one (if you're doing a new cut), it's a lovely classic USB product.
