Buying my third VDO Volt Gauge in hopes it will perform properly

Purchased this product in hopes that it would perform The gauge is defective, as were the two previous ones. Out of 3 gauges purchased, 3 were defective. This is a shame and does not meet the standards of VDO. The VDO volt gauge I purchased is part of my history. Voltage applied to it did not result in a proper response. It was returned to the manufacturer for replacement after it was determined to be defective by their technical department. It was a nice looking gauge but did not operate correctly because of the replacement gauge. Two out of two gauges were defective, which was disappointing. It is evident that no tests or quality control have been conducted on.
