Complete Tractor 1107-0002 Tachometer Cable, Black

A part of the 1952 Ford 8N tractor works with this part. The connection at the governor is not made properly, as noted by the only other reviewer. There is a possibility that the female threads on the governor are metric or have a different thread count from the female threads on the cable's connector. If it is started by hand, it will be easy to turn, but binds 20 minutes of my time were wasted During this 30 minute verification process, I looked for cross threading. I forced the metal on the cable connection with channel because aluminum on the cable was soft and steel on Henry Ford's governor was cold. Pliers with a locking mechanism. The quality of the product is poor. To place the proof meter in the square drive hole, I had to file the proof meter end. A poor job was done on the machining. There is a gap between the drive end and the engine, but it won't I weren't able to get it to As the beat up original still does the job, I went back to it. The one on the left is destined for.
