Several tachometers are available on the web, but I chose this one based on its ratings for my VW 1600 engine. In my experience, other ratings are not the same as mine. When it is running at lower RPMs (up to around 4K), it seems to be fine, but as it reaches 5K, it will bounce up and down very wildly, sometimes with the needle going all the way back to zero. It seems to be very accurate on a BMW E30, but I won't be surprised by the Bosch ECU.
