I'm very pleased with it. When I installed it, I thought it was the wrong one since it was smaller than what I had installed. In my failure, I did not turn the 12-volt speedometer housing from 32-volt to 12-volt For the calibration of the new gear, 38 transmission readings are required. To be sure you are calibrating it correctly, turn it to the dot on the transmission.
I was very happy with the customer service provided by Rugged Ridge. Even though I messed up, I was still allowed to return the item.
I used it on my 98 Jeep Wrangler TJ and it worked just fine.
This is perfect This bike has 10 gears and a 33" Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ. It takes about 5 minutes for a spedo to be accurate. It cost me $130 to buy this part (Dealer quoted me that price).
It does what it's supposed to do. I have now been able to read my speedometer Purchasing it is a bit pricey for what it is, but the convenience of ordering sometimes makes it worth it.
Compared to the original Jeep headlight, this is very bright.
The teeth are very sharp There are 36 teeth like that. Everything worked right out of the box. I am now driving at the proper speed in my Jeep. My Jeep tends not to throw me out of it when it's not trying to throw me out. There is a possibility that it is Nonetheless, the speed has dropped to a more acceptable level.
As a result of putting larger tires and a new gear on my 03 Jeep TJ, this was the ideal party to recalibrate my speedometer. All in all, I only had to swap out and get on the road for five minutes.
