We did not make one for NP242 because it did not require one
NP231 transfer case is what you should have under your 98 Wrangler. That is what was original with the vehicle. Check the ID tag on the rear of the transfer case to see if it is the model of the transfer case. It is a red circular ID tag. If you are installing the ring over the speedo, rub a light coating of transfer case oil over it with your finger before installing it. The gear housing should then be slid into the transfer case before the gear housing is slid into the gear housing. It may also be easier if you mark the gear housing and transfer case opening before removing the gear housing so that you can line them up easily when you reinstall the gear housing. The gear housing for the transfer case can be installed so that it will not engage the transfer case gear and therefore it will not operate the
The gears on this speedometer is broken but there is no damage to the gears Stack the rings. It was a need for an O After installing an Old Man Emu lift kit and a slip yoke eliminator kit, I was assigned a new rear ring for my Jeep Cherokee '00. Here is the original document The ring lasted until I pulled it after installing, but I had to replace it after I got it back You must install the output seal (there was a major leak! Ordered this 2 days ago and received it on 2 days I did it exactly as it was intended, sliding on for my entire Prime day (day 1). The rubber was extremely comfortable to work with, and there was no leakage. The quality and fit of these are excellent, so I bought two just in case.
The speed gear and speedometer were bought separately to fix the speedometer on a Jeep after it was upgraded to 33" tires. I really enjoyed using it.
I have a 98 Wrangler TJ with an O ring that fits perfectly. For the one bolt, I used a 13 MM, removed the broken O ring, replaced it with the O ring in the package, and bolted it in place.
I installed the speedo gear for my new motorcycle.
My Jeep Wrangler's speedometer gear was replaced, and while the previous one was okay, the new one is more accurate After checking it out and deciding to replace it with a new one, I opted to proceed. Neither a leak nor a spill has occurred.
This is 0L The Jeep Cherokee 4 is a 2000 model. The label on NP231 is 0. This was used for my speedogear oring since the previous one broke during SYE installation. I was able to use it on my stock speedo (short). I like the little bag that it came in. I am happy with how it has turned out so far. That is all there is to say about it. I will edit if there are any.
A perfect fit and a secure seal.
