The info screen on the cluster for my 07 Yukon XL has gone out. Can this kit be used to repair the info screen on a 2007 Yukon?

There are only two new backlight bulbs included in this kit, and the motor that controls the needle position is not replaced. Those who buy this kit don't need to replace the info screen.

The vehicle I have is an 01 2500HD. Would you please tell me which kit I should choose?

What gauge do you have? About six or seven. My husband says you may want to get While he was putting his gauges back together he broke one of them and could not replace it.

What kind of repair kit should I get for my 2007 GMC Sierra Classic?

You can only use this repair kit if you have a 2003 or 2004 Results of the 2006 General Motors Awards

Do you know if it'll work on a 04 Chevy 2500HD?

That is what I believe will happen. The instrument panel is the same as the one I put in my '04 Chevy avalanche.

Quite a nice kit with a lot of It includes a great kit that offers everything you need to fix a common issue, affecting not just the speedometer, but all the gauges as well

In this particular truck, the oil pressure gauge dropped to 0 when the engine was at idle, indicating the engine was worn out. There was nothing wrong with the motor, it was just a problem with the wiring. It is possible to remove the needles with the fork pry tool without damaging the face or the needles and it can be used to perform a variety of other prying tasks in the future. One more thing you will need is a desoldering device. You can use a pump or a braid. I personally use a pump and it works flawlessly on these motors' larger leads. Soldering is a straightforward process that takes an hour. If you are already proficient with soldering, it takes about 15 minutes. To make installation easier, I used some painters tape and marked the bottom of the old motors, which made it a simple one-step process, and it was very The best way to do this is to watch videos. In addition to the 4 included bulbs, the cluster has 11 illumination bulbs, so it doesn't repair a completely dark cluster, but they are an added bonus if a few.

The program did not work for me, however I am giving it 5 stars. It sounds strange, but that is what I would advise you to do. Take away the instrument cluster and send it There is more wrong with my instrument panel board than what I thought I installed, so either I installed them incorrectly or there is more wrong with the installation. After doing some research I found out that there are capacitors that blow, resistors that get hot, and other things to watch out for Assembled metal parts detach themselves from each other. Other than stepper motors, there are many issues that can arise. Despite that, I'd like to point out a coupon code that comes with this box. In the event you DO NOT take advantage of the offer, Fred will credit you for the price, and you can still send in the Consequently, I sent in my instrument cluster, drove around for a couple of weeks with a naked dashboard (don't tell mom! As such, I strongly suggest you send Fred your instrument cluster if you pull it out. The longer you stick with it, the happier you will be. You must pay for express shipping/fast turnaround option if you don't want to drive around without instruments. The cost is higher, but may be worthwhile in your situation. Wishing you the best of It gives me great joy to have a fully operational instrument cluster once There is no way to express how deeply rewarding it is to see everything working.

I had no problems with any of mine
5/5

The tool that comes with the stepper motors is useful and all of my stepper motors work. Despite trying to remove all of my dials without breaking any, I did not manage to do so. I purchased the same bulbs as the ones that came with my 2004 Silverado. just one lamp because I discovered that most of the bulbs in my cluster were burnt out, but the lamp I replaced made the other half look much brighter due to the others being burnt A 7 dollar bulb kit, which replaces everything, would be a better buy than this kit. I believe the speedometer is a reputable brand. I also noticed the bulbs are T1, 12 volts. In the numbers 1 and 5, summarize the following I would recommend 2 watts based on what I can I had bulbs whose wattage ranged from 1 to 1 1/2. The number of 089 and 1 is 89. Because I am confident that this brand has legitimate motors, I would buy this as well as more bulbs. It seems like one of the bulbs in the kit was also not good because it was dimmer than the rest and had a higher current draw. I would just install the motors without testing them, but you should test all the bulbs before installing them. I would test the bulbs before installing, but I would test the motors after installation.

Speedometer. As far as I can tell, there were no problems in installing the six stepper motors within the dash cluster and using the needle pulling tool that was supplied! It was the de-soldering and soldering back that was the most challenging for me, but I had experience from the past and I had practiced a little prior to starting! The spares I still have are in case any of the dash bulbs are out. A kit that includes them is a good idea. Getting my truck's dash back to brand new has been quite the experience!.

I have a moderate level of experience working
5/5

This was one of the most economical and straightforward repairs I have done in years as someone who has a moderate level of experience working on his or her own vehicles. I found the kit to be well priced and the contents to be all that I needed to accomplish my goals. Disassembling the dash and cluster was the most challenging part, but with the aid of a quick internet search, I was able to figure it out This is a link to video that shows me how. It was the video on the Dr. Speedometer site that showed me exactly how to desolder and solder in the new motors, then how to test them for proper needle placement that was the most helpful to me. It's a thumbs up from me I was inclined to put my trust in Dr. Speedometer, especially knowing that a friend of mine spent over $600 on GM to get his gauges fixed.
