Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
This LED gear indicator is ready to use right out of the box. There is no need to cut lines because the original motorcycle has a reserved socket for quick connection.
Easy to Setup: It is simple to set up. Use double-sided adhesive tape to adhere the gear indicator shift to the dashboard.
Super Waterproof: This motorcycle LED gear indicator is waterproof, and it will work even if it is submerged in water, so don't be concerned about rainy days.
No Damage: This Gear Indicator only reads the ECU data from the motorcycle and does not harm it. Once the engine is running and the clutch has been released, the gears will appear on the screen.
Best After-Sale Service: Please contact us if you are unsure which model will fit your motorcycle, where to install it, or if you have purchased the incorrect model.

Questions & Answers

By chance, the order was placed. Is it possible to adapt it to work with my 2009 Versys 650?

I'd check to see if there's a plug that fits your bike's diagnostic plug; I wouldn't expect much of a difference in electrical design between the 09 and 10 models. My Versys 1000's diagnostic plug was under the seat; check yours.

Which of these will fit a Kawi Z1000 from the year 2003?

You must select "old year model" from the drop-down menu.

Will this custom Volcan 900 from 2013 be successful?

Mine is on a Kawasaki Versys 1000 2013 model, and it works great.

Will this fit a gs500e from 1989?

I'm not sure how well it will fit your bike, but it's a great product. I found it to be extremely useful.

Usability is severely limited
3/5

I'll start by defining what this is all about: br>As an input from the motorcycle, this device will receive some limited information. The rotation of the engine and the speed of the wheels are both important factors to consider. It will then convert this ratio to a numerical form for the rider to see in the form of 1-to-1. Gears are represented by the number six. Because there is no ratio for ZERO (neutral), it will display a dash instead of a 0. All of the talk about the "Clutch sensor" (whether it's broken or not, whether it exists or not) is utter nonsense. There is no clutch sensor, just like there is no gear sensor, and no information about clutch sensor activity is available at the access point. The fact is that if your clutch slips, the ratio will display different numbers (numbers that the device cannot handle). So, what exactly does it do now? br>After the ratio calculation (about one second later), it will display what gear your motorcycle is in. Because it's out of usable data, as soon as you pull the clutch, it'll show a dash. To summarize, the ONLY purpose of this device is to let you know what gear you're in before cornering (it can be difficult to tell the difference between 4th and 5th or 5th and 6th at low speeds), so this information can be useful if you lose your counter (the counter in your head). People should be aware that when the clutch is pulled, it will not display any numbers. This is because the data confuses it, not because of some miraculous "clutch sensor" that prevents it from doing so. This is also why it only shows numbers while spinning wheels (it needs that data to come-up with a solution). to come up with a figure). br>Some people might think it's "cool," while others might think it's useless for the reasons I just stated. br>In the case of a seller: br>I received my FIRST unit and proceeded to set it up according to the "manual" (which, by the way, is a joke). It didn't work out. I then proceeded to read the Q&A. A and discovered that the seller replied to some questions by encouraging customers to "contact them first. " So I did, and two days later, I found out that my "clutch sensor" was malfunctioning. LOL My bike has a total of 2200 miles on it and is in good working order. In the meantime, I ordered a second unit, which performed exactly as expected. After that, I began the return process, and I will be required to drop-off. off the rotten one Isn't it more truthful to admit defeat and simply say: Return it and you will be sent a new one - tested by hand?.

For my Ninja 300, I love this indicator
4/5

For my Ninja 300, I love this indicator! I purchased the "green" options for "reactangle. " Yes, there is a slight delay before the digit updates, and it does not update while the clutch is engaged, but those aren't the times when I need to check it. It also functions flawlessly with clutchless up/down shifts. br>br>The only issue I had with it was the lack of dimming on the 7-segment display. It's a little harder to read the digits during the day/in bright light because of this. The stickers are completely transparent over the LED segments that come with it. As a result, they are of no assistance in resolving the issue. I solved the problem by purchasing a smoke lens designed specifically for 7-segment displays (see photos). To achieve the same effect, you could probably use the screen from an LED alarm clock, or an old film or something similar. Once the display has been filtered, this indicator is - perfect-! It's both affordable and practical. I'm just not sure why the digit wasn't windowed; it's a very common practice.

It is simple to put together, bright, and reasonably priced
5/5

Without any indicator, this is a fantastic addition to the Vulcans. Kawasaki has set aside a few ports on the bike for accessories (I believe there are four). It's under the seat where I found it. This is where the restriction is on European models, so you should probably put it here as well. br>br>I taped it to the right side of the indicator and mounted it on the left side of the tach housing. I connected the cable to the connector under the seat by running it along the bottom of the gas tank, where other cables were located. Apart from the seat to access the connector, I didn't have to remove anything to install it. br>br>I was taken aback by how bright it is - It reads the bike's ECU, so there's a small delay before it changes to your current gear, which is very easy to read during the day. When you begin to release the clutch, it will do so. If you downshift several gears while keeping the clutch in until you come to a stop, the display will show the gear you were in when you started downshifting, not 1st, and it will display 1 when you release the clutch to start moving. The value of neutral is zero. br>br>Given the ease of installation and the low price, I'd strongly advise purchasing one. I'm usually aware of what gear I'm wearing, but I occasionally lose track, which is when this comes in handy. I also drive in second gear on occasion. When downshifting and stopping in 1st gear on the Vulcan, you can't shift to 2nd gear; only neutral is available, so I have to stop in 2nd gear. This is when the indicator comes in handy. I would purchase this item again.

Ninja 1000 is a plug-and-play model that was introduced in 2013
5/5

Installing it was a breeze. For my 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 1000, it was literally plug and play. I got it out, and that's all there is to it! It reads 0 in Neutral, which is what I expected. The only drawback, which isn't a deal breaker, is that there's a split second delay between changing gears and getting a reading, and it appears that you have to completely release the clutch to get a reading. In addition, I used red screen, which appears to be less visible in direct sunlight. Overall, a fantastic value for money product!.

Excellent Promotional Material Play the Display of Gear game
4/5

As previously stated, it installs as a plug-and-play device. My 2013 Ninja 300 has a play accessory. I had to remove a small amount of the plastic in order to easily route the wires, but once installed, it worked perfectly. When shifting gears up and down, there is definitely a delay. To put it another way, you must shift gears and then let go of the clutch. The gear you're wearing will be displayed at that time. Overall, I'm happy with how simple it was to set up and how well it works to keep track of your location.
