I bought this gauge to watch the engine oil pressure on my trail 900 RZR motorcycle since it does not come with this function This gauge appears to be well made and seems to have been sealed with epoxy well The gauge has no wires in it, only sealed stabs to which you connect your wire. It is great to have these gauges on your motorcycle. In my experience, this is the third set of oil temperature and oil pressure gauges I have tried on my bike. An advantage of having waterproof gauges is that they are easy to use. Aside from its excellent technical support, Prosport offers a very competitive price. The gauge I needed needed a white illumination that could be switched on at night, as well as a clear lens that could be seen during the daytime. This was exactly the gauge I was looking for, I confirmed this with technical support. During the day, the clear lens and illumination make it easy to read outside, and at night, the illumination allows the reader to see. In my fairing, the gauges are mounted using a threaded case, which fits well in the standard dual pod. Neither the wiring nor the connectors are special. There are two senders - one with 250" male terminals, and the other with 1/8 male pipe. It is easy to install, simple to read, and has a good value. All wires are grounded to the engine, so they need not ground to it.
It can be a little tricky to fit the sending unit because it is quite large. There is just something about this gauge that I like. This motion watch has a full range of motion control and LED backlighting. The gauges that I liked for the custom build took me a lot of time to look for. The price was so great that I had to give them a try, even if I didn't like them. I was impressed with the packaging. I was given the gauge in a compact, sturdily built box with a clear inset so I could see the gauge Hopefully they will hold up well, so I will buy more for other applications if they do.
