AUTO METER 2267 Oil/Temperature Metric Adapter

When I ordered a trany temp gauge set, it did not come with any adapters for attaching the transmission's 1/8" temp sensor. Firstly, you should always measure the temperature at the trany, which is why my 95' Jeep Cherokee has a T55 torx plug next to the dipstick tube for collecting temperature data, and the treads are metric 14x1 inches. No adapters can be found anywhere else for this, so this is the only option you have. Although it was a tight fit, it was able to accomplish the task.

I used this adapter with the transmission temp gauge to boost a Jeep AWD transmission. You only need to use thread sealant for the sensor going into it so that there are no leaks on the threads.

The adapter you need to install the transmission temperature sensor in the test port of your 1997 XJ if you are installing a transmission temperature sensor. This part is of excellent quality and fits perfectly in my vehicle.

The transmission case snapped off within the transmission case with no indication that the threads were tight or snug. We now have the fun task of fishing out the broken threads.

Cancer will not be cured with this, but it will do its job as long as you don't cross thread it or don't tighten it up It is what I was looking for, so I'm happy with.

During oil pressure testing, we blew off the oil pressure sensor in the We were unable to extract the file. It was tapped and drilled, and then the piece was shoved It worked like a charm and I saved one hell of a lot of money. To ensure any metallic flakes in the oil are removed, make sure you use a magnet to remove all metal shavings from the oil pan. If you find yourself in my shoes, sacrifice 2 oil changes and filters.
