In my case, I mounted it under the To prevent the needle from vibrating, the gauge is filled with glycerin or whatever kind of fluid it is. My gauge began sucking in glycerin after about a week of use when I noticed the rubber plug that seals it in was being sucked in. When I pulled out needle nose pliers, the plug was still a long way inside, so I decided to try to pull it out. My hand reached for it, and the plug stretched out so far that most of it was still inside of When I tried to pull it out with a scribe, that was the last straw. By pushing it off to the other side of the gauge, the scribe got it out of his sight. As you can see, the needle is nowhere near 0, so I threw away the gauge. Autometer has failed to meet my expectations, and I have also experienced problems with others of their gauges. Purchasing this product would not be a good idea.
