This adapter did not work for me as received, as the male end of the adapter would not start to thread into the female thread of 1/8 BSPT. My close inspection revealed that the male threads had been parallel cut, not British tapered pipe, so I had to recut the male threads with a 1/8 BSPT die, and then it threaded in fine. The female end fit the threaded connector as intended. Some reviewers have noted that the threading may be off or that the product actually requires BSPP female threads and a sealing washer to function.
I looked twice at this adapter and the end connectors are both npt while it is supposed to be a 1/8 npt to 1/8 bsp.
I am happy with the quality of the product. The mask was great, but I chose to use one I got from a friend instead and returned this mask. Having said that, I would probably have been better off with this setup, as it would have been shorter and would have allowed for a better clearance with the sensor that goes.
This is exactly what I needed to run my boost gauge on Because the ends of the threads are somewhat blunt, I used a 1/8 BSPT die I happened to have on hand to chase the threads. My adapter was not able to thread into the hole on the manifold because of this. As soon as the tips of the threads were sharpened, they inserted easily.
I was able to get it to work without any trouble!.
Adapt this oil pressure gauge for my old oil pressure sensor on my 240sx to use the glowshift oil pressure gauge. The product works great, does not leak, and is easy to install! The product is excellent.
Using the American thread temp sensor in the BSP location, ordered the product for successful installation. I liked the way it worked. The only thing that had to be done was to make the hole slightly wider to accommodate the temperature sensor.
This is exactly what was Designed for use with 2AR models, this gave me the ability to adapt a 1/8-27-npt tee to my hitachi 2AR The second half of the year. I opted for a 5l so that I could keep my old oil pressure switch but also have an aftermarket oil pressure gauge.
