I don't usually like to write reviews, but I thought this one needed lots of positive feedback. There are several Toyota cars and trucks that I own. The replacement bulbs for the interior lights are BA9 type and I cannot source any of them. The map lights are pretty simple to use once you pop the clear cover off of them. I decided to go with this brand after doing extensive research. Note that these LEDs, like most LEDs, operate by polarity. The bottom of the lights (base) is positive and the sides with the two prongs are negative. ** * *Replaced the two yellow dim map lights on my 99' 4Runner quickly. I am now going to show you It was simple to install these lights once I removed the clear cover. There was no joy with any of the bulbs. It was a little bit challenging, but I ended up taking off the whole moonroof and map light assembly and switching the two wires going to the map lights. There is a lot of light and it I am not at liberty to overemphasize how important it is to note that these BA9 led replacement bulbs are polarity-sensitive. Please make sure you read the instructions carefully before installing these lights. If you are unsure whether these bulbs are bad, you might consider testing the polarity of the socket on your vehicle.

Works with Infiniti M37 Dome light but not with other lights

I bought this for the dome light on my Infiniti M37 because the price and quantity were appealing, and the reviews were positive. However, I could not get any of the bulbs to work from the first pack. Then I replaced one of the packs, and both of them proved unusable. Since I wanted to have a few extra for backup or my other car, I have to return them, which is a disappointment.

I was able to use them on my vibrating Harley with no problem. The dash lights were old so I put them there to save me the trouble of replacing them. Thus far, everything seems to be going well.
