What would these look like on a 1980 Chevy square body?

It is true. Using them on an 85, I found that the dash panel lights on square and oval are the same I have 73 bodies, 73-73 This pattern is also found on pickups from 1987 and later.

Could these be used on a 1972 Dodge D100 dashboard?

This is a 1/2" socket, and all my pickups use 5/8" sockets. I don't know what type of instrument cluster you have. The '76 and the '77 I have are both from 1976. However, Mopar did use both sizes so I suggest you check before you order.

I've been able to use LED bulbs that I can easily find in my van by using these wedge adapters. Upgrade to LED bulbs on a van like this by changing the form factor to 204. Overall, I am very pleased with the product, and the price for a set of 20 was extremely reasonable. There are some pictures of the product on my website. There are no easy ways to get them on

A twisting motion could not be used to install the sockets. In order to make them work, I had to trim them with a razor. Then, if you twist them to the position they are supposed to be in, some will work and some won't. Although I was able to use them, they were just not perfect. I guess for less than 10 bucks they are what you'd expect.

They are not compatible with 60s Chevys

These were the ones I bought after reading the review that said they were too big for many I could not get them to fit on my 66 Bel Air. For 60s Chevy, look for 5/8" sockets - another set is listed on here, but it comes only in packs of 10. Although they fit perfectly, they are quite thick. In addition to reviewing that product, I gave it a rating.

They are not easy to install, they do fit, but they are tight, and the steering wheel rotates a little too much on my vehicle For the connectors to engage with the printed circuit, I had to turn them back a bit.
