When I purchased this gauge, I only bought it because I was having trouble with my power and I wanted to make sure my turbo had enough power to produce boost. The gauge works as intended, so I am completely satisfied.

The impression I got wasn't good

I bought the boost gauge to troubleshoot the boost before the intercooler in a diesel engine. All I wanted to determine was if that boost was close to that after the intercooler. Without being hooked up, the gauge read seven psi when I unpacked it. On a sixty pound gauge, this is quite a bit. Several emails were sent to the manufacturer inquiring if the needle could be repositioned or how the gauge might be repaired. A response has not been received. Rather than go through the hassle of returning it for a different one, I will use it since it will do the job for what I need. It is obvious that the quality control is lax and the response to the customer resembles the same. Thus, I would not purchase another item from the same manufacturer.

The gauge has a similar style of display as the pyrometer I bought previously. I like the way the gauges work and they're easy to install. Obtaining the fitting is simple. The kit includes a compression fitting and a bushing that connects 1/8" to 1/4" NPT. Looks like it's holding up just fine.
